No Hope

I had given up hope that I was a witch. I had prayed for months that I would get my acceptance letter. But no letter came before my eleventh birthday. Not from Hogwarts, not from Beauxbatons. Nothing.

I was heartbroken.

So were my parents, my wizard father and muggle mother. So was my nine-year-old sister, because now, there was even less hope for a letter for her. So were my four best friends, who had not received letters either. Even though one of them was muggleborn, she had still hoped for a letter, so she wouldn't be left alone.

But that was three whole years ago. What hope is there now?
