fifteen.

"The fuck you mean the hotel is over booked ?" Odell asked the man at the receptionist desk.

"I'm sorry but-"

"Yeah yeah whatever."

Odell sighed and walked out the hotel with irritation as rain drizzled down. He leaned against the side as it was still dry. The team was in the Los Angeles area because of weather. There was no more room at the hotel for him and he was pissed off. 

He thought about calling Jordyn but he didn't want to be a bother. Odell knew she wasn't exactly comfortable with him around her and it's been weeks since they actually seen each other. The communication was still there but it was lessening by the minute. Odell was slightly scared to lose her. She's the first girl he genuinely put effort in and he was dammed to let her go.

Jordyn left breakfast with her friend and they walked together down the road with Jordyn's umbrella above them . Odell heard a laugh.

One too familiar.

He looked up and saw Jordyn. A smile grew on his face but it soon turned into a frown , seeing the man next to her that was holding her hand. The man noticed and whispered in Jordyn's ear after making eye contact with Odell.

"Ooooh , your Instagram boyfriend here."

"Wh-"

Jordyn looked around and she saw Odell. She smiled and waved before turning to Diego.

"He looks jealous." Diego mentioned before looking down at Jordyn. " Kiss me so he can hit me. His hands could choke me any day."

"You are so kinky." She said in disgust. Diego laughed loud on purpose , feeling Odell's glare.

"He is so fine." Diego was about to faint. "But I'll see you later , text me when you get home."

"I will."

He gave her a big hug and walked off in the opposite direction. Jordyn walked over to Odell and raised eyebrows and adjusting her umbrella.

"So why are you in LA ?"

"Well we played against the Rams yesterday but due to weather , we can't leave." He said , looking up at the sky as the clouds were permanent up there ." And I tried many hotels and they are all booked."

Jordyn nodded and pushed her lips to the side. She didn't want to leave him out here in a city he didn't know. Jordyn wasn't too comfortable with him around but she was trusting him. She was starting to and she knew she had to push some boundaries of comfort a little to let her adjust to him. He wanted to be apart of her life but that would be only if she let him.

"So you wanna spend the day and the night with me ?"

Odell looked at her surprised. He didn't think she was going to offer. Odell was thinking of ways to do things since things sucked and he didn't want to stay a shitty motel so Jordyn's house it is.

"Um if it's okay with you. I don't want to make you uncomfortable or anything-"

"It's okay that's why I invited you. So come on."

Odell nodded and picked up his bag. Jordyn adjusted the umbrella as they walked from under the hotel sign and to her Range Rover. They got in and she drove off. Soft R&B music played in the background and Jordyn turned up the music when Aaliyah's I Miss You came on.

"THIS IS MY SONG!" She shouted. Odell smiled , watching her sing the song.  She threw her head side to side and moving around , singing the lyrics.
