Roy grinned to himself as he stuck another hand written note into another randomly picked book. All summer he'd fooled Ed into thinking that his father had left clues to the whereabouts of The philosophers stone in books at the Central Library.
Roy had an ulterior motive and that was to keep the young alchemist in the capital until they caught Scar. So far it was working though he had noticed Hawkeye keeping an extra keen eye on him. 'She fancies me.' he told himself.
Riza had put two and two together as Roy seemed to get a kick out of Ed coming to find him every time he found a 'clue'. It was all false and Ed was trying too hard.
For the past week Roy had noticed a beautiful woman walking around Central. She wasn't from Central but captivated Roy. Finally he asked her out.
"Hey gorgeous, how about I show you around?" he'd asked. She had looked at him and laughed, "Eww no way! I don't date players. Anyway, I'm here to see my cousin." she smiled and walked over to Riza.
"You set me up!" Roy exclaimed. "Serves you right." Riza grinned triumphantly. Ed was oblivious to all of it.
