"About time someone came to visit me." Dolly said, she use to be gorgeous but as she aged her skin became fragile looking. "Hey auntie Dolly, Layla told me to drop Ayla off before work." Serena said with Ayla in her arms sleeping. Dolly let them in and told Serena to lay Ayla down in the guest room. "Alright auntie she's out cold I'll be back tonight to pick her up." Serena said.

Dolly kept her attention on the television as she sipped her coffee. "Have a seat." Dolly said. "Auntie.. I can't be late for work." Serena said. "Girl hush and have a damn sit before I make you." Dolly said with seriousness laced in her voice. Serena sighed softly knowing her auntie wasn't playing. Just because she's up in age didn't mean shit Dolly will still kick somebody's ass in a heartbeat. Serena took a seat on the green couch covered in plastic.

It's 2018 and her auntie still kept plastic on her furniture to keep it fresh and clean. "You must don't love me no more. You or my kids don't come see me no more. I thought I taught y'all better then that." Dolly said with her eyes glued to the tv as the 2 o'clock news flashed on the screen. "Auntie Dolly you know I got much love for you. I just been busy with my own personal life you know." Serena said looking down at her cracked screen to see what time it is.

"Too busy for you're own aunt? How terrible, when's the last time you went to church with me?" Dolly questioned. "I can't remember." Serena hung her head low embarrassed that she couldn't recall the last time she even went to church or even prayed for that matter.
Dolly shook her head side to side and said. "The people in this world are so catch up in the trends that they forget about god." An awkward silence fall over them as they watched the news.

"Baby run down to store and get Ayla some snacks you already know how she is." Dolly said pulling out a twenty dollar bill from her black and green robe. Serena check the time again seeing she still had time to spare she didn't hesitate to do a favor for her auntie. "Okay, Anything else auntie?" Serena questioned. "Oh baby get me a lotto ticket please." Dolly replied. Serena told her she will be back in less than ten minutes.

The nearest corner store was two blocks away so Serena decided to walk it wasn't a point of wasting gas when she can just walk there. The corner store was owned by Mr.Miller he was a cool laid back white guy who was in his fifties. Every 4th of July Mr.Miller would buy fireworks for the whole block and he would let the kids come into the store and get whatever they wanted for free. When Serena was younger back in the day Mr.Miller would buy school supplies for the whole neighborhood. Everyone loved and respect him in the hood.

Serena noticed her ex friend Britain and crew of friends were standing by a burn orange Ranger Rover with tinted windows. Already irritated by seeing Britain's face Serena wanted to turn around. Britain and Serena haven't been friends since the ninth grade when Britain got caught giving Andrew head behind the staircase. When everyone found out Britain lied and told everybody that it was Serena.
Every since then the two hated each other with a passion.

Soon as they seen some guy with four cornrows to the back dressed in designer from head to top they moved away from his car. "Heyy Scrilla, how long you staying down here for?" Britain questioned batting her false eyelashes at him. Serena never seen or heard of him before but he was fine as hell his chocolate skin glowed underneath the sun rays. "Wassup Brit, and not for long." He answered. "How have you been? I missed you." Britain asked in a flirtatious manner. "A'ight." Scrilla said nonchalantly as he brush pass Britain to get into his car.
