Hello reader. It's nice to meet you.
And as for the old-timer readers, welcome back.
This is my first of my one-shot English fanfics based on a Chinese Cantonese Opera Libretto here on WP, i hope you enjoy this story.
First of all, i would like to give honor and dedication to the playwright of the story whom this version is inspired from, Mr. Tong Dik-Sang/Tang Di-Sheng(唐滌生) for where this story was inspired from that he created in 1957 and became one of the celebrated repertoire of Cantonese Opera.
I also dedicate this to my favorite MG and DyShen fanfiction authors and to the readers who are also fans of the said tandem.
I do not own the story, nor the characters. Some places and situations are based on the story and some are fictional. Please do not copy and a few parts of the story comes from the author's thoughts and imagination and the source of this story does not belong to me.
TRIGGER WARNING:
Graphic Scenes Of Death, Suicide and Suicide Attempts and scenes of Violence and Sexual Scenes are not suitable for very young audiences.

AUTHOR'S NOTES:
"Di Nu Hua/Daai Neoi Faa"(帝女花) was based on a Kunqu Opera written in the Qing Dynasty as the fictional story of Princess Chang-Ping and Prince Zhou Shi-Xian. The second version, where this story is based, is from the early 1900s later found in Japan and Shanghai. Little information is available from this early 1900s version. The contemporary popular version, not meant to be historically accurate, comes from the second script where this fanfiction is based from.
Based on the version and other publications, Playwright Tang Ti-Sheng adaptation of this into a Cantonese Opera script debuted in the on 7 June 1957. Actresses Madame Yam Kim-Fai as Prince Zhou Shi-Xian/Chau Sai-Hin and Madame Bak Sheut Sin as Princess Chang-Ping/Cheung-Ping Gong Jzyu and were the original cast of leading roles and they played these roles last in 1970.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
