Imagine waking up. You don't know where you are, but everything looks familiar in the creepiest of ways. There's a bruise and a gaping cut on your forehead, but the blood is dry and it looks like you've just survived a mass murder. Your head hurts, hurts so much. You feel like gouging your eyes out.
You look around, and there's blood everywhere on the walls, but worst of all there's this awful rotten stench. Getting more of your eyesight back, you look around a bit more, still sitting where you woke up. Dead bodies, they surround you. you were laying on the remnants of someones corpse, and the room is filled with dead bodies, some piled, some rotted more than others, and you're terrified.
You're just sitting there, on somebody's rotting corpse and you don't know what to do, can't remember what happened and every time you try to think back you collapse and black out. You have a theory, but it's only in the back of your head, haunting. The longer you sit the more the theory grows and you start to get up, to see if there are more survivors.
You wonder into a different room, piled up with even more dead bodies. You can't step around them, so you've no choice but to step ON them. You find a mirror, just laying in the corner of the room, cracked but still in one piece. You look at yourself, bloodied up and bruised. As you look at yourself, the theory you had in the back of your head shrinks back down, but it's still there.
First, you wonder who you are and what caused you to survive. Second, you wonder if there are anymore people still alive, what you can salvage from them and if you could possibly save any of them.
Then you wonder if there's any way out of this seemingly ongoing series of doors and rooms.
Shaking your head, then regretting it, you stumble back into another room. There's a woman in the corner, holding the remains of someone and crying. Slowly walking towards her, she looks up and wipes off tears. Shakily, she asks who you are.
You of course tell her you don't know, and then ask her the same question. She says the same, and then you ask her who she's holding and why she's crying if she doesn't even know who she is.
She tells you she doesn't know any of those things, and says it's just because she felt like this person was important to her if she woke up holding his hand. So she decided to mourn them.
You nod and ask if she's found any survivors, she says she doesn't know. You ask her if she would like to join you for the search of more, and she replies again with ' I don't know '. Agitated, you get this urge of violence. But you decide that violence won't get you anything from this woman, except for fear.
You decide to carry on, but you bring her into this room, the only one so far that you've found without any bodies, and leave her there for safety. She brings the corpse with her, continuing to mourn. Suddenly dry throated, you wonder if there's any food or water in this maze.
Remembering the room you've left her in, you decide to search for survival items while on the hunt for more survivors themselves.
You can't find any quenching liquids except for blood, and it seems the only food sorce would be the rotting corpses. You don't give up, however and continue on the search.
You're walking into another room when suddenly one of the corspes move, only it's not a corpse, only a survivor of whatever happened. You decide to help him out from under the many piles of bodies layered on top of him and bring him out. Thankful, he hugs you. "Aw, man you have no clue how glad i am to get out from under there, i've been trying for ages and it's such a relief!" he says, panting and clutching the hoodie on your back. Quickly, you ask if he's noticed any other survivors, and if he knows who he is. All he says, is i don't know. You tell him you've found another survivor, and show him to the room you've left her in.
He immidiatly gets weirded out from her coddling the corpse in the corner and screaming. "She..." You start, "She's not crazy, i don't think. Just a little unusual. She's harmless." Giving a nod, he walks to the opposite corner and tells him he should be fine here, but adds that you should hurry back because he doesn't trust her.
Hurrying now, you decide to look for anything that looks like a faucet, or some sort of water spouting device. You go looking room through room when something rings from the corner of the room, and startles you. It's glowing from underneath a corpse and you decide to check it out.
You find a purse, in it lies a small bottled water that's half full, a phone, some make up and tampons. You decide to leave only the make up and bring everything else back to the safe room. Coming in, the man you've found earlier sighs of relief obviously glad you're back. The woman has now let go of the corpse, leaving it in the corner and is now humming to herself and looking around.
