Chapter 12: The Festival of Light

After school they all went home and came to the Mansion.

"Everyone here?" Gumball asked. "Yup! Wheres Masami?" Terrie asked. "Here!" Masami ran down the stairs. "We'll be driving for you, Sir. Gumball." A guard said. "Sure then." Gumball said and they all went to the garage and drove to the Yoshida's Vacation Resort.

Gumball POV

I walked out and assisted them to come. We saw a huge House but when we came in we were more shocked. It was huge! It had a flat screen tv facing a sofa and walk further, it showed a veranda bearing a gorgeous view.

"Lets find rooms first!" Joe said while raising his hand. "Sure. My room and Masami are already here. So, you guys find yours." I said and they all went upstairs. I looked at Masami. She was smiling while looking around. "How'd you know this place." She asked with her hand behind her back. "Your dad." I answered.

"Thanks for bring them and me! I'll thank dad later." She said and walked upstairs. 'Ugh... This heart! Why won't my heart stop beating fast!' I thought while going upstairs.

"Gumball, Where's your Room?" Tobias asked. I walked to a door infront of Masami. I opened it revealing a beige room with a white bed, A tv, a Single Sofa and Table with other stuff. "This is my room." I said calmly. "Dude! This room is huge and cool!" Darwin said as he hung his arm around my neck. "I'll change seeing you guys have." I said while taking off my shirt and they left.

We all went down and saw The Girls. "Well what do you wanna do first!?" Sarah asked. "Beach then?" Tina recommended. We all nodded and walked to the Beach.

"What..." I asked. They all looked at me. "Are you boys swimming?" Carrie asked. "Yeah, Why not, Dear?" Darwin said. "Well. I'm taking this off." Molly said and she took of her robe. It revealed a black with hearts designed bikini. "Whoa..." Joe and Tobias said. "Shut you mouths!" Tina said and the two turned away.

The girls took off their robes and went off into the water. "Hey... aren't you going in?" Bobert asked. "Not sure. Why?" I asked back. "Just go. I wanna record you too." He said pulling out a camera. "Fine." I said and I took off my white buttoned-shirt revealing my toned body.

I swam and the guys went near me. "Dude! I forgot you were ripped!" Tobias said surprised. "I saw those for the second time!" Darwin said. "Haha! Gumball is now a man!" Joe teased. "Hey! You get over here and I teach ya!" I said and chased him. We ran and swam until I crashed myself into someone. My lips crashed into theirs as well while catching them from falling into the water.

"Sorry!" I yelped and looked this person in the eyes. I was shocked to find it was Masami. "U-Uh..." She uttered with a red face. "Sorry! Masami!" I said while composing her. "You! Little- You did that on purpose!" She said and I ran with her now chasing me. We both got extremely wet and it was sunset so we got out of the water.

"Argh! Gumball! You got me all wet!" Masami yelled. "You had fun though!" I said between laughs. "Fine! I'll accept this one!" She said while putting her robe on. "Lets go love birds!" Tina said and the we followed.

We all changed and ready for dinner at the Restaurant. I showered and got out with jeans and a white shirt. I walked and turned to Masami's room and saw her with her wet hair. I threw my towel and she glared. "Dry your hair. We'll be eating out." I said. "Okay... ah! By the way... Can I..." She said something but I didn't here fully.

"What?" I said while going in my room. She then went in. "I need a shirt... The Maid put alot of sweaters but no shirts. They even put pants and others! But no shirts... so." She was about to ask again I just threw on her hand a Shirt. "What is this?" She said while looking at the shirt. "Its my Football Undershirt. Don't worry it isn't dirty." I said and she just hugged it. "Thanks! She said and walked out.

------>> At the Resto...

"Chicken, Pork Barbeque, Kebab, Kimchi, and 10 Smooties." Darwin said and gave the Menu as the waiter left. "Nice Place Masami!" Terrie commented. "Very artistic as well." Tina looked around. "My Mom designed it." Masami said. After afew discussions they suddenly notice Masami's clothes.

"IEECKK!" Molly yelled. "Why are you wearing that!~" Tobias teased. "I j-just borrowed... Is it bad." She defended. "Hmm... Yup!" Joe said with a Detective face. "Wearing his clothes is very suspicious." Tina said while looking at me.

Food came and the chat lowered. After eating Masami walked out to the beach. "Hey." A voice called. I turned to see Terrie. "What?" I asked. "Go. To. Her." Bobert said and they all looked at me. I did what they wanted and went to Masami.

Upon reaching her... "Hey!" I yelled. She looked at me. "What up?" She asked. "Just concerned. You left when I'm supposed to guard you." I said with crossed arms. "Oh... Sorry." She said with a smile. "Well Fine. But why'd ya leave?" I asked. "Its about to start." She said and I remembered what this meant.

"The Light show at night?" I guessed. "Yup!" She said with a smile. "Tomorrow is the festival. And its exactly 12'o'clock so I wanna say this." I said and she looked at the area that the Light show will start at.

"Happy Birthday, Princess Masami..." I said with crossed arms and a smile. She was wide eyed and looked at me surprised. "How..." She asked. "Your Father told me but, who wouldn't know when your birthday is." I said. She smiled. "Thanks... It means a lot." She said. "I want a gift from you." She added.

"What?" I asked. "I want to call you Gummy and have a hug from you for my Birthday." She said which shocked me. I smiled. "Okay. Gummy it is." I said and she smiled. I then held her hand and tugged her for a hug. She was shocked yet later hugged back.

"Thanks." She said while looking up at me. Then Fireworks started to go off and everyone came and looked. They also noticed Us Hugging but Masami didn't let go so I just hugged her.

After this event we immediately went back and slept...
