(Emma's POV) setting: Iridium High

I was getting ready to go to school today when I got a text from Jax(my boyfriend right now) saying, "Hey do you wanna just ditch school today and go to the mall? I'll by you something cute." I didn't respond because i was running late for school and I don't like to ditch.

I was walking to school once i hear footsteps running to me it was Jax.

Jax: "Hey Emma wait up" he yelled taking of his helmet from his dirt bike.

Emma: "Oh, hey Jax" i said trying to go inside the school.

Jax: "So why didn't you respond to my text this morning?" he asked.

Emma: "Well i was kinda running late for school as you can see, and well i don't like to ditch school. Now can we please go inside?" I asked imppatiently.

Jax: "So you dont want to go?" he asked a bit annoyed.

Emma: "No, not really. But you can go with somene else im not stopping you." I said.

And with that we both left.

(Daniel's POV)setting: The hallway

I was putting my things away in my locker and no one was in the hallways untill i hear a familiar click-clacking sound running in the hallways. I check to go see who it is and It's Emma!

Daniel: "Hey Em." I said softly.

Emma: "Oh hey Daniel!" she said changing her mood from worried to happy.

Daniel: "So you're late ,too?" I asked.

Emma: "Yeah Jax made me late. He wants me to ditch school." she said.

Daniel: "Yeah well maybe he was just wanting to spend some time with you." I said thinking why I was defending Jax.

Emma: "Well when we were together you never peer pressured me, right? she asked.

Daniel: "Ya I guess. Look Em I've got to run, but if you need anything I'll be here and I'll always care for you." I said touching her hand and then letting go wuickly because we only used to do that when we were together.

(Emma's Pov)

When he touched my hand I got chills because he hadn't done that in what feels like a year. Wait was I beginning to have feelings for Daniel again or have I always had feelings for him. Holdup what am I saying I have a great boyfriend, Jax. I couldn't possibly like Daniel again... could i?
