My Job Interview/ Meeting an Old Friend again

Okay angel you got this sure your sister is auditioning for this show but you will actually work behind the scenes and try to avoid her at all costs at least if you get the job.... oh get it together!!!

I was sitting reading over my CV hearing sounds of people in pain and shouting from the next room with some people looking at the door and slowly running away until I was the last one waiting for an interview.

I always had a passion for working behind the scenes in fact my whole family would always point out anything they saw on Tv programmes from the camera to the stage lighting you name it.

When the door opened again a guy was covered in burn marks began crawling his way to the emergency room which I laughed at but kept it to myself.

This guy in a chef hat came out and looked around as I was the only one left to interview he looked at his watch as I took out my phone and started playing a game.

???: "Hey you girly what happened??"

Me: "Check the footage it was the most hilarious thing I have ever witnessed in my life people jumping over each other and scrambling out of pure fear sorry you missed it!"

He laughed which amazed me but I smiled at him. He had to let his boss/employer know about this but told me to wait. That gave me enough time to think about everything.

I had moved here from when I was 19 years old but I still missed my best friend geez if he was here he would be giving me his Movie star inspirational speech right about now.

I waited and waited until I heard the door slam open and looked at the angry man in front of me take a long sip of his latte geez this guy has standards.

???: "Really only one person decided to wait until me the star of Total Drama made a dramatic entrance!"

Me: "Well they made a dramatic exit that a way!"

The guy in the Chef hat laughed again until he stopped as the guy in the sunglasses glares at him. I just laughed but stopped myself.

Me: "So does this mean I get the job? If so awesome!!"

???: "Chef who is this?"

Chef: "Says her name is Angelina Barlow and..."

The guy in the sunglasses dropped his latte and nearly his phone as I quickly grabbed it and handed it back to him again.

Chef: "Yo Chris are you okay???!!"

Wait Chris??? No it can't be they must have the same name they can't be the same guy. He removed his sunglasses and I instantly knew that smirk from anywhere in the world.

Me: "Chris???"

Chris: "Angel???!"

It took me 5 seconds before hugging him as he spun me around as I laughed along with him. He set me down on the ground again as I wiped my tears away.

We both smiled at each other and just looked up at Chef as he looked shocked at the pair of us still laughing.

Chef: "How do you know each other!!??"

Chris: "We were old neighbours!"

Me: "And master pranksters!!"

We laughed again and I picked up my bag and put on his sunglasses on as he began to turn red.

Me: "So .... do I get the job?"

Chris seemed to think about it and to be honest i was nervous waiting his reply. He nodded as I squealed and hugged him again.

Me: "I won't let you down Sir!!!"

Chris: "I know you won't Angel but not behind the scenes how would you like to host the show with me?"

I gasped in surprise and smirked at him as he wrapped his arms around my shoulder as we began to catch up and as we walked to the nearest cafe along with Chef I cannot wait to be working with my best friend!!!
