Hey everybody! This is a Loki X female reader. It's my first fanfic, so please be gentle with me. (Although I am willing to bet that y'all will like it) Tell me what you think! Feedback is highly appreciated! Thanks and happy reading!

[PS: I don't own any of the Marvel characters and the pictures aren't mine]

-----------------------

So you were a trained assassin of earth. Of earth, yes. Not a lie, but not the whole truth either. There were very few that were close to you but they meant everything to you. You killed for the govenrment, eliminating threats from outer space and keeping earth safe. You were strong and smart but sometimes your emotions got in the way of your work.

You were currently captaining a spaceship, on its way to Titan. You had a whole crew working for you, people from different realms brought together for this particular mission, but you only trusted one of them: Danielle, Dan for short. She had been your friend since forever and she really was the only person from your crew whom you knew. The rest had been given to you temporarily, so you knew that their true loyalties lay elsewhere.

The reason your spaceship was on its way to Titan was because you had been assigned a task. A task by Thanos himself. You had to capture the two princes of Asgard and deliver them to Thanos, alive. He wanted nothing more than to capture Thor and Loki and torture them to death so that they would serve as a warning to others. "Don't ever dare to challenge the mighty Thanos and don't ever dare to fail him."

You usually didn't interfere with the rest of the eight realms. But, Thanos knew of your little secret. Yours and of that little boy whom you would give your life for. And Thanos had captured this little boy: your little Drake, and now you had to complete this task as ransom for Drake's life. Needless to say, you had agreed instantly.

It had taken a great deal of caution and you had almost got caught. But you had managed to avoid major fighting, since you relied more on your cunning than on your strength and captured the princes without much loss.

So, there they were, the two Asgardian princes, tied up with chains, attached to the wall of your ship. They weren't badly hurt but bruised and bleeding nonetheless.

Loki looks like he's trying to kill you with his stare (that doesn't bother you at all). Thor however, looks at you with sympathy. This does anger you because he softened towards you ever since you let it slip as to what your reasons were for capturing them.

"Lady (y/n), you know that we would help you if you let us. Things do not have to be this way. We can be allies.", says Thor. You look at Thor as though pondering his offer but then walk off without saying anything. Loki rolls his eyes at this and gives Thor an annoyed look.

"It would be better if Thanos would kill her friend off. Then she would spend the rest of her life in guilt and misery. It would save me the trouble of having to kill them both myself." He says this loud enough for you to overhear him.

"Loki no", whispers Thor, but it's too late. You've snapped. You stop in your tracks, turn around slowly and walk towards Loki. You're breathing heavily and your face shows that you're barely managing not to explode in anger. Loki has a very smug look on his face, seeing that he struck a nerve. You slap him hard across the face, then pull him back by his hair and punch him in the eye. Your face is extremely close to his. You lock eyes with him, "Don't. You. Dare.". You mutter each word with emphasis, and then storm off.

Loki and Thor are both wearing bracelets that prevent them from using their magic or strength, which is why Thor and Loki are still bleeding from the last barely-a-fight when you captured them. In addition to that, Loki now also has a black eye and a red cheek that he can do nothing about.
