Not Beta'd. Feel free to point out any mistakes! I switched it from past-tense to present and may have missed a few things.

When Carmen first mentioned a party, Angel hadn't quite known what to expect. With his weirdo little boyfriend, there were many viable options: getting drunk and banging at home, robbing some houses, or even an impromptu drive to the ocean. None of these ideas included a real party, because as outgoing as he may seem, Carmen hates people almost as much as Angel does. So when he has Angel park on the street beside a house which has a driveway and yard already overflowing with cars he doesn't have the slightest idea how to proceed.

"Come on, it'll be fun!" Carmen urges, bodily dragging him out of the car and towards the entrance.

He counts six cars including his own, which could mean any number of party-goers. The short walk up the driveway alludes to nothing either; there is a lack of the pumping music one might expect from a party, and they're only able to hear faint voices and laughter from within.

"You know I don't play well with others..." he grumbles but follows Carmen through the door anyways. From the outside the house has been unremarkable, and the inside is much the same except for a familiar skunky odor... Angel allows a small smile to grace his lips. Maybe this party would be fun after all.

""Yeah, I also have a feeling that you'll like these guys," Carmen winks at Angel and bounds head, loudly announcing their arrival. "Tis I! The gayest gay of them all!"

A chorus of cheers and clapping greets them, as well as a slight haze. Angel takes a deep breath and lets his eyes roam over the occupants, taking everything in. He counts seven people, two half-smoked blunts and five open bottles of what he assumes to be alcohol.

"Everyone, this is Angel. Angel, this is everyone!" Angel is slightly surprised that he doesn't recognize a single one of them, but he doesn't let it show. It's possible that they may have heard of him, considering his past, but he also doesn't expect it.

"Nice to meet you all," he bows slightly, smirking as a couple of the men watching laugh at his theatrics.

"Carmen, over here!" a decidedly small one with bright green eyes and a shockingly freckled face beckons to him, and Angel watches as his man goes over easily, taking a puff off of an offered blunt as he went. Not one to be a follower, loner as he may be, Angel takes the middle seat on the couch between a man in a spiked leather jacket and a man with tattoos galore. Interesting people...

"Hiya there! I'm Emmy!" the spikey one holds out his hand expectantly, and Angel slowly shakes it. "That one over there is my boyfriend, Jeanes," Angel follows his finger and sees a man with an undercut and no shirt immersed in a game of Super Smash Bros.

"I might just have to play him later tonight," he muses, retracting his hand and accepting the vape the sleeved man offered him. "What's in this?"

"CBD mixed with some watermelon juice. Not too bad if ya ask me," Angel shrugs and takes another puff before handing it off to Emmy, assuming it's a passing game. "Nice to meet you, by the way, I'm Diedrick. Feel free to call me Ded," instead of his hand he offers Angel a bottle of birthday cake flavoured vodka. He raises an eyebrow at it but drinks some anyways, grimacing at the aftertaste.

"Mucho gusto," he murmurs, handing off the bottle again.

"Speaking of boyfriends, mine is the tattooed one in the corner over there with Carmen and Noel. Gracie doesn't speak, fair warning. I didn't know that until a good month after we first met, I'd just assumed I'd pissed him off somehow and he was hardcore giving me the silent treatment," he rubs a hand on the back of his neck as Angel lets out a bark of laughter.
