Lucas's POV-
"Alpha. Sir?" My beta and bestfriend Jacob asks as I lean against the window.
"Jake, what's up?" I ask slightly annoyed. We are at the pack house and my other beta and an omega had gone out. They told me an hour and it's been three. I'm worried now about Skyler (my beta) and Hayden (the omega).
"Im sure their fine Luke." He says pouring me a glass of Wolf Bane. It's our version of 'big kid drinks' as my mum would say. We need an extra kick to our drinks since we don't even get buzzed off human beers and stuff.
I sigh and nod,
"Okay..." I trail off and down the Wolf Bane.
Skyler's car pulls up and I run out to meet her.
"Skyler!" I scream waving my arms at her as they run for the door to get out of the pouring rain.
"Shiz." I hear her say out loud.
"Damn right." I say calmly as they reach me. The omega has his head tilted down and was staring at the ground.
"Go inside Hayden." I speak firmly and he looks at me in surprise.
"You know my name...?" He asks and Sky sniggers. I glare at her and put my hand on his back guiding him inside.
"Of course I know your name. Now get changed out of those wet clothes. Don't wanna get sick do you." I mumble and smile at him before turning and walking outside again.
I close the door and glare at Sky, Jake stood at my side with his arms crossed at a raised brow as we wait for her to explain herself.
"Christmas is around the corner... And we wanted to get you guys the perfect gift. Then I decided to give Hayden a makeover so his crush/mate would notice him and yeah." Sky explains and my heart aches. I bite my lip and growl lowly.
Jake looks at me with a funny look so I give him my famous cheeky smile. I then look at Sky and stare at her untill she shifts comfertablely, I smirk.
"It's okay. But next time be a half way decent pup and text your Alpha." I coo and pinch her checks. Skyler glares at me and grabs Jakes hand, they're mates did I mention that? No? Welp now you know. It's stops raining to!
"Okay, Sky help out in the kitchen! Ellie needs help tonight, Jake round up the boys we're going out for a jog. Have Hailey and Jessica set the table and bring out the food!" I shout some orders at go to Hayden's room.
I knock softly and wait. I hear stumbling and the door locks.
"Chase if your here to beat m-" My eyes widen and I growl.
"B-Beat me up I'm not o-opening the door." He stutters in fear.
I frown,
"Hayden, open up please. It's just me Luke..." I trail off.
The door instantly unlocks and opens, I look at the boy and smile slightly. I took in his clothing, but he wasn't wearing a shirt. I let my eyes trail down his body then back up. I meet his eyes and he's blushing as I realized I just openly checked him out. I awkwardly scratch my neck.
"Er... Me and the boys and going for a jog... Wanna maybe uhm come with...?" I ask nervously and bite my lip.
"Uhm sure. I'll be down in a sec." I watch as he closes the door and I hear a scream and some giggles. I guess he's happy, I mean it's the first time he's been out for a jog with us guys.
Oh yeah that Chase thing.
"CHASE." I scream and wait at the bottom of the stairs.
He runs in and looks at me confused,
