(Crystal's POV)

"Wake up C...."
A soft feminine voice sounded in my ear.

A cold, wet nose pressed against my cheek.

I slowly got up and stroked my cat.

"Morning Cleo."

She purred.
"Morning."

Yes. My cat is talking. Well. Meowing. I can just understand what she is saying.

She jumped off my bed and I got ready for school.

I went downstairs and drank my milk before bidding goodbye to my mum and leaving the house.

I walked down to the forest and put my backpack down by the river before leaning against a tree, watching the Stokes Twins latest videos.

A cat suddenly ran behind me and I looked up to find Jack laughing with his mates.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me."
I muttered as I put my earphones and phone away.

"Again Jack. We've been through this a thousand times. Quit scaring the cats."

He smirked as he saw me.
"What are you gonna do about it?"

"Beat the shit out of you like I did last time. And the time before that. And the time before that. And the time before that. And the-"

"We get it! You wanna go again?"

"Why not? Nothing better than beating up my enemy."

"Likewise."

"Ladies first."

"Go on then. Weaker first."

"Go on then Jack. We all know you're Weaker."

"Am not."

"You know what? Screw it."

I went to punch him but someone's arms wrapped around me.

"GET OFF ME!"
I yelled and bent over so the person flipped off me.

I saw it was Sophia.

"Really?! You have horrible timing!"
I yelled at her.

"I can't leave you alone for 10 minutes with you trying to beat up Jack."

"Screw you."

"Screw you too."

"What you gonna do about it? Let her control you like always?"
Jack jeered.

"Why you insolent-"

"Don't. You will be late for school. I'm fine. Beat him up after school."
The cat said.

I bent down and stroked her head.

She purred.

"Wanna race Sophia?"

"Bring it."

I grabbed my bag and slung it on.

"Ready. Steady. GO!"
She shouted and took off.

I grinned and ran my shortcut.

I leapt out the forest and to the school.

I waited by the gates as she came, panting.

I had barely broken a sweat.

"Every time."
She panted.

"Come on."

We laughed and walked into the school where we met up with Hani, Matt, Connor and Esme.

We laughed and joked around until the bell went for class.
