I woke up with Kevin's arm lazily drooped over me above the duvet, the warmth of his body against me. It didn't take me long to realize he was awake when he wrapped his arm tighter around me to pull me closer to him, he rested his chin on my shoulder so his lips were pressed against my ear. I slowly wriggled into him more if that was even possible, to feel more of his warmth. I could feel his lips turn into a smile against my ear but I just stayed quiet, pretending I was still asleep. It was only four-fifteen we didn't have to be up for another forty-five minutes. Another few minutes passed by before he slowly slid the arm that was wrapped around me above the duvet, to under the duvet. I could tell he was biting his bottom lip that was still pressed against my ear. His hand slowly crept under my tank top but only the bottom slightly brushing over the hem of my sweat pants. The bottom of my top was just above my belly button. Once his hand stilled on the bottom of my stomach I slowly lifted my hand and placed it on top of his so he knew I was awake.
I could tell I slightly shocked him because his head slightly pulled away from mine. I just laid there still, until he chose to speak up.
"H-how long have you been awake?" He asked slightly embarrassed.
"I woke up just before you," I replied smiling, knowing that's the answer he didn't want to hear.
I pulled away from him a little and rolled over so I was facing him. I was starting to get the feeling Kevin did really care about me but in that more than a friend way, so I decided to try and embarrass him for more fun.
"Anything you wanna tell me?" I asked him, with a smirk on my face.
"Nope," He said making a popping noise when he pronounced the 'P'.
I could see his face was starting to blush a little.
"Are you sure?" I asked him.
He took in a deep sigh but soon answered changing the subject.
"I think you really need to break up with Ryan," He said almost in a whisper, bowing his head.
"I know," I replied just as quiet, feeling tears run down my cheeks again.
"I'm sorry," He said, pulling me into him again.
"It's ok, I know you say it because you care." I cried into his chest.
He kept running his hand down the back off my head to comfort me, keeping me pulled into his chest. After a minute or two he pulled me away from himself to look me in the eyes.
"I really do care!" He exclaimed, his own eyes watering from my sadness.
"I'm going to break up with Ryan!" I told him, trying to sound confident.
"I know you will," he replied smiling.
"Today!" I informed him.
He just looked at me with a shocked expression.
"What?" He asked, eyebrows raised as if he didn't hear me right.
"I'm breaking up with Ryan today! The longer I leave it the worst it's going to get." I replied.
"Good! You don't deserve to get treated like crap!" He exclaimed with his big smile plastered on his face.
Kevin wiped the tear drops that had stained my cheeks away, he pulled me into him so my head was resting on his chest. With one arm wrapped around me holding me into him and the other tracing small patterns on the top of my arm by my shoulder.
Jenna must of woken up and come downstairs but me and Kevin never heard her enter the living room.
"Oh shit! Am I interrupting something?" She asked, a smirk plastered across her face.
"Nope." Kevin and I both replied together.
This slightly disappointed her because I think she thought we would panic and try to explain ourselves, but seen as though nothing happened we didn't have to cover anything up or explain ourselves. We both stayed in our current positions, Kevin still tracing patterns on my arm with his other arm wrapped around me. He was still only in his black boxer shorts.
"You do know this is what people look like after they have sex, right?" Jenna asked us.
"Well we didn't," I replied with a blank expression.
"Did you guys sleep on the couch together all night?" She asked.
"Yep!" Kevin answered popping the 'P' again, and with a smirk plastered on his face.
"Why? Kevin you did tell Ellie one of you could sleep in the spare room didn't you?" She asked.
"Yes he did!" I answered backing Kevin up.
"Then why sleep together on the couch?" She asked, gesturing her hands towards us on the couch.
"You missed an... emotional conversation," Kevin replied, not wanting to bring Ryan up for the second time that morning.
"What kind of emotional? Ryan emotional?" Jenna asked.
"Yeah," I answered for Kevin, knowing he didn't want to.
Jenna just gave me a look not knowing whether she should ask or not. I decided to just tell her, not having to make her ask.
"I've never wanted to tell anyone before but Kevin put two and two together last night after you went to bed, then he asked me about it. Ryan can get a bit aggressive. He's never physically hurt me but he has threatened to, which is why I never break up with him because I'm afraid to." I explained to her, Kevin just squeezed me tighter to comfort me.
"What?! Why haven't you told me?!' Jenna asked shocked.
"I don't know, I was afraid he'd hurt me I guess." I shrugged.
"I've decided to break up with him today though," I added.
"Good! We'll be there for you!" She assured me, sitting at the bottom of the couch.
When we checked the time we realized it was now five O'clock so we needed to get up and get ready to be at the studio to start rehearsing again. We should have the dance ready by the end of the day, especially seen as though it's the last day to work on it. Jenna was the first one to head back up-stairs to get ready. Me and Kevin didn't want to get up we were content staying with each other just as we were but we knew we had to finish the dance. We eventually managed to get ourselves up and start getting ready.
