Flight fear

You were walking towards the gate where you would board your flight. It was your first time flying so you were extremely nervous.

Once you boarded the plane you found your seat and sat down. You were flying from to LA and it was quite a long flight. Almost 8 hours! And since you'd never been on plane before this freaked you out.

You just sat, staring out the window, trying not to think about all the things that could go wrong. Oh god you were nervous! You were so focused that you didn't even notice a person sitting down next to you.

"Hi I'm Thomas"

The person beside you said bringing you out from your thoughts. He was handsome. His hair slightly messy and those brown eyes.

"Hello" You said. It wasn't your meaning to be so rude but you were just to nervous.

"Not the talkative one are you?"

Thomas said. Trying to start a conversation once again.

"I'm sorry I'm just really nervous. This is my first time flying. But I'm Y/N"

Just after you finished introducing yourself and explaining your situation the plane started moving. Going faster and faster. You held tightly to your seat and silently prayed you wouldn't die.

"Hey love, it's ok. Just look at me and tell me about yourself"

You did as Thomas said and looked into his eyes. They were truly mesmerizing. Quietly you started talking about yourself but quickly got comfortable around him. You just talked and talked and he just sat there and listened.

Suddenly he interrupted you and said.

"Look Y/N were already up in the air. There was nothing to fear"

You looked out the window and saw you were houndreds of miles up in the air flying through the clouds. All the buildings looked so small from up here. You couldn't fight the huge smile that spread across your face.

"Thank you so much Thomas"

You looked back at him to find him staring at you. He also had a huge smile across his face.

The rest of the flight you kept talking to him. You learned a lot about his life and he was really cute. Even though you had only met him a couple of hours ago you really liked him.

Soon you were descending but you barely noticed because you were distracted by Thomas. Sadly it was time for you to part ways.

Once the plane came to a complete stop you grabbed your bags and made your way off the plane. In the rush you forgot to say goodbye to Thomas.

The thought of never seeing him again made you sad but what could you do. Suddenly you heard someone tell your name.

"Y/N!!!"

You tuned around to see Thomas sprinting towards you. He ran all the way up too you and stopped just a foot away from you.

"Hi"

"Hello"

Without even realizing it you both stepped closer to each other just staring into each others eyes.

"I-I was just... uh ... wondering if I could - maybe - I mean not to push. I wonder if I could get your phone number?"

He nervously stuttered out. You giggled at his stutter and how scared he was to ask you. Instead of saying anything you just nodded.

"Andwoukdyoualsogoonadatewithme?"

"I'm sorry what?" You said trying to fight the giggles over how cute he was but failing miserably.

"Would you go on a date with me? I know we just met a couple of hours ago and this sounds crazy but I like you - like a lot a lot"

Again you didn't say anything instead you just gave him a peck on the lips.

When you pulled away he had the biggest smile you had ever seen.

"I take that as a yes?"

He said still smiling like a lunatic.

"Yes, I really like you too"

This time it was his turn to kiss you more passionately.

You both pulled away in the need for air. This time it was you who was smiling like a lunatic.

This was the start of something good, you could feel it.
