Note: Hurray for first work! Hetalia does not belong to me!

"Teacher, teacher!" Leon shouted, mouth wide open when he saw an apple fall from a tree. "Does the apple fall far from the tree?!" He added, while tugging Yao's shirt, "Ahh, that is a very good question!" Yao acknowledged the child as he stopped whatever he was doing, "You see, it doesn't really fall that far, because the apple is similar to the tree. . ." The man said. "Ehh? How would a tree, filled with many leaves, be related to a tasty fruit?!" The child then added, his eyes beamed with so much curiousity. "Well, it's-" Yao spoke, but then didn't realize that Leon ran off to the garden again to examine the tree closely, by climbing it! He just shook his head and continued working in his wooden desk.

The child climbed, carefully putting his small feet at the lowest branch of the tree and tightly holding the branch above his head. Leon pulled himself up in a quick manner. He kept repeating this until he reached the very top, it was very windy, all the trees around him were dancing. The child then looked at their well that stood in the middle of the garden, he admired how deep the well was, whenever Yao 'magically' gets water from the bottom of the well by using a bucket.

The wind grew stronger and stronger the longer he stayed there, admiring all the things around him. . . The old Chinese arcitectures were really magnificent, and the river that he and Yao always go to whenever his teacher had free time.

Leon snapped out of his day dreaming and quickly looked for an apple that was about to fall, and with a small sound, he heard an apple fall! He climbed to the very side, trying not to fall out and saw the apple. . . It was very red and very round. He examined how far it fell from the tree, "Oh! It really doesn't fall that far!" Leon cheered. Suddenly, a familiar figure appeared, picked up the apple and looked at the child with a smile. "Teacher!" he exclaimed, looking down and waving at him. "Leon, could you please get down? I want to talk to you about something." Yao replied, extending his arms and gesturing him to come down. Of course, Leon obeyed and didn't say a word. He went down, carefully going down and grabbing the branches, and pushing himself down. The moment he got down on his feet again on the green grass, he burst into tears, thinking he was in trouble. Yao looked at the child in confusion. "Why are you crying?" The man remarked, holding the child's hand. "I thought you were mad at me...." He replied, wiping his eyes with one hand. "I-I thought you w-were going to p-punish me" He added, more tears streaming down his face. "Why would I? You sometimes remind me of how curious I was when I was younger!" Yao answered, trying to wipe the tears off Leon's face. "I wanted to fully explain to you if the apple falls far from the tree, or not" He added and grabbed his hand.

They both settled inside the house, with Leon sitting on Yao's lap. "And so, if you continue to bring honor to us, then you will grow big like teacher!" The man said, closing the story book. "The reason why the apple does not fall that far from the tree is because-"

"I will grow older and be like you?" He beamed, and stood up straight.

"Ahhh, good and because we have many similarities, you see" Yao cheered, and stroked the child's hair.

"Okay! I am the apple, which makes you the. . Tree?!" Leon added.

"Yes!" Yao laughed.
