"Hello, Shiro. Glad you came here." I had seen him before. I had seen him so much more recently than I had expected. My eyes widened, and my heart stopped abruptly.
"T-Te-... Tomura." A tiny smile wiggled its way onto my face. After so long, I finally had a genuine smile on my face. It was no longer the empty, lifeless one everyone was used to seeing. "Where'd you do for so long? Where were you?" He nodded, walking up to me, his figure towered over me. He reached his hand out, and I immediately took it without any hesitation. He kept his pinky away from my hand for a reason. I didn't bother to question it. I closed my eyes lightly, finally in a place where I belong.
"Truly heart-warming, huh? I brought her, Shigaraki. What's my reward? You did promise me one, after all." The teasing voice of Tarot from behind me quickly made me jerk my hand away and roll my eyes in an annoyed manner. I turned back to her, only to find that she was beside me, shuffling a deck of cards with master efficiency. A smirk grazing over her lips as she licked her teeth, which were white and sharp. "Maybe my reward will be a few games prior to some disaster?" Tenko groaned in obvious annoyance, but he didn't make any move to stop her. Instead, he went to the closest table and sat at a chair, glancing at me.
"Shiro, you're going to go back now. I'll have Tarot give you some directions every so often, so you'll know what to do." He waved a dismissive hand as Tarot dealt the cards out to the two of them. He picked up his hand and kept a completely straight face.
"B-but Tomura, I just got back to where I belong! You can't leave me now..." I spoke to him in an almost desperate whimper as I held a hand up to my cheek.
"Your classmates will start to worry if you don't come back soon. You had woken up and decided to go on a walk to clear your mind. Got it, Shiro?" His eyes trailed over to my tiny figure as I sighed but nodded slightly.
"Yes, Tomura, I understand."
"Good girl," Tenko muttered to me softly as my vision started to fade. I noticed that Tarot had played the seven of diamonds.
My vision faded to black.
When I regained my thoughts, I was standing outside of the pharmacy door in my regular clothes. I put on my apathetic expression, remembering Tenko's words as I slid the door open.
"Shiro/-chan/-san!" I heard my classmates yell as the door opened. I felt a large body looming over me from behind. I glanced up at the silhouette with a hum.
"Hello, dad," I whispered softly at Sho, trying to step away and go back to the bed. Sadly, my attempt failed as he gripped my shoulder and spun me around. I was now facing his annoyed looking face.
"Shiro, where have you been? We've been looking all over for you." His eyes narrowed as I looked back up at him with a small smile gracing my petite features.
"You obviously didn't look hard enough! I went on a walk. Couldn't stand being in the bed all day, ya know?" My smile turned into a grin as I quickly turned around, moving his hand off of my shoulder as I sat down in my bed, surrounded by my classmates. "So, what happened while I was out?" I chirped happily, waiting for an explanation.
"Shiro, I need to talk to you privately once you're discharged." I heard a voice whisper to me from beside the bed. I recognized the voice immediately from memory.
"About what, Todoroki?" I whispered back, disguising it within the voices of my classmates explaining the tournament to me.
"What do you think the point of a private meeting is?" He shot back rhetorically. I giggled and nodded.
"Sure. Where do we meet?"
"I'll wait for you, Shiro."
"Good." I smiled, turning my head to glance at him. He looked like absolute crap. "Did you win?"
"No, but I used my left side." I gasped in some sort of mix between shock and surprise and giggled happily again.
"It's your power, so that's
lucky."
She was back, and she was going to speak as well.
