Yugi's POV

[3 days later]

I was walking home with my grandpa and my friends, my grandpa was injured two days ago and he was released today. My sight hasn't returned and I was starting to accept the fact that it might never return. I perked up as an unfamiliar presence stepped up to us. "Hey you! You're Solomon Motou aren't you?" She asked. "Um yes, who are you?" My grandpa questioned. "You really don't remember me?!" She growled. "You stole my blue eyes white dragon and I want it back!" She commanded. I stepped forward "my grandpa didn't steal anything!" I growled. "You're Yugi right?" She questioned. I tilted my head "uh yes" I replied. "You won the Battle City Duel Tournament and claimed the title as king of games" she said sweetly. "Yes" I responded curiously. "Hey don't change the subject! I want my blue eyes back! Duel me old man, winner gets the Blue eyes!" She commanded. "Wait just a minute! My grandpa just was released from the hospital, he's in no condition to duel! I'll duel you instead!" I growled. *aibou, your blind remember. How are you going to duel without your sight?* 《you're going to have to guide me》 "fine, it doesn't matter as long as I get my card back!" She growled. "You're Rebecca aren't you?" My grandpa questioned. "Yes, Rebecca Hawkins. You stole my grandpa's blue eyes white dragon!" Rebecca replied. "Arthur gave me the blue eyes white dragon" he said. "Liar! You stole it! I know you did! Now let's duel!" She commanded before initiating the duel. It was a bit difficult for me since I couldn't see what I was doing. *soul release, this card will win the duel* I put the card back in the deck and placed my hand over my deck <you're forfeiting?!> 《yes》 I looked up as a new presence entered the room "Rebecca! I'm sorry if my granddaughter caused you any trouble" Arthur said apologetically. "It's ok Arthur" my grandpa replied. "Rebecca, Yugi won the duel" he said walking over to my deck and revealing the card "soul release, this would allow him to remove up to five cards from either player's graveyard" he explained. "Now apologize for being mean to Yugi" Arthur said. "I'm sorry Yugi, can you please forgive me" Rebecca replied. I couldn't figure out where she stood "uh Yugi?" She questioned confused. "I forgot to mention, Yugi is blind" grandpa explained. I lowered my head "but you were able to see during the tournament" Rebecca said. "I lost my sight 3 days ago when I was attacked by a man, he sprayed something in my eyes and now I can't see anything" I replied sadly. "Oh! I'm really sorry Yugi, if I had known I wouldn't have demanded you to duel. But how were you able to duel without your sight?" She asked confused. Two of the four spirits revealed themselves "I have four other spirits inhabiting my body, while I might not be able to see they can. Unfortunately only two of them can make themselves visible" I explained before Priest Seto handed me the card I was looking for "here Rebecca, this is called the Ties of Friendship. I want you to have it as a reminder of today" I said handing her the card. She gently took the card "thank you Yugi" she replied before hugging me. I winced as her hand brushed against my lower back, she looked confused "Yugi was thrown off a rooftop 3 days ago, he was having a really bad day" Anzu replied. Rebecca nuzzled my cheek "that's terrible" she said clearly flirting with me, Priest Seto pried her off. I blushed as she hugged my arm "please release my prince's arm" Priest Seto said annoyed. I gasped as I was able to see slightly, my vision was extremely blurry but I could see shapes. "You're eyes are no longer steel, they're whitish purple" Priest Seto said shocked. *but how?* /could it be because of Rebecca?/ <how could that be possible?> a sinister presence appeared behind Rebecca, I quickly pushed her out of the way as the creature launched at us. I yelped as the creature slammed into me, my head struck the ground as the creature slashed me across my face. 《No!》 I lay on the ground defeated. <your right eyes is bleeding> 《its claw is in my eye!》 My friends wrenched the beast off me, I quickly crawled under a desk and hid frightened. "Yugi? What's wrong little cub? Are you alright? " Anzu asked concerned. "no!" I whimpered. The sight in my left eye completely returned but my right eye was completely destroyed. "Are you alright Yug? Please stop cowering like a frightened kitten" Jonouchi pleaded. I peeked my head out "my vision just returned and my left eye was just destroyed by some demonic creature! Do I look ok to you!?" I hissed before dragged from my hiding spot by Anzu "why would you sacrifice yourself for me?" Rebecca questioned. "Because I would do anything for my friends" I replied. I whimpered as Anzu placed a wet cloth against my injured eye. "The damage isn't bad, there's a chance that your eye will be ok" Anzu said. I looked in the mirror above the desk and gasped, a large gash ran down my face. It began above my eyebrow and ended in the center of my cheek. "How is that not bad! Even if my eye recovers, I will still have a terrible scar!" I shouted concerned. 《《I'll take the injury, I will look wicked with a scar》》 《thanks Fukushū》 I leapt from Anzu's grasp as Fukushū took over.
