Chapter 5

Elaine's P.O.V

It wasn't even 5 seconds before driving and I had two maniacs screaming into my ears.

"OH MY FREAKING GOD HE ASKED YOU OUT ELAINE HE ASKED YOU OUT!!!!!" Valerie screamed.

"I KNEW IT!! I KNEW HE WAS GONNA DO IT" Isabella screamed back.

"WE'RE GOING TO DO YOUR HAIR AND NAILS" Valerie announced.

"DON'T FORGET SHE NEEDS A NEW OUTFIT" Isabella shouted again.

"Would you two like to shut the hell up? My ears are bleeding.." I said in a sarcastic tone

"Oh come on Elaine.. We both know you were waiting ALL NIGHT FOR IT" Isabella said.

"Okay fine I'll admit it. I really liked the guy! But remember.. I've only known him for like two hours" I said while pulling into the driveway.

"Two hours or three minutes, he asked you, and thats all that matters at the moment" Valerie stated.

The minute I walked in I took off my heels, and sighed of relief. I Don't understand how Valerie and Isabella do this for like five hours every weekend..I sat on the couch and the girls did the same.

"I've never been so excited" Isabella squealed while staring deeply into my eyes with her eyebrows high on her forehead.

"Its funny cause its not even your date" I said while laughing.

"Excuse me bitch?" Valerie said with a serious face. "This is very special.. Elaine going on a date" she said while drying her fake tears. I couldn't help but laugh. I heard a buzz from my purse and hopped off the couch to see who it was.

"OH MY GOSH IS IT JOSH? DID HE ALREADY TEXT YOU?!" Isabella screamed.

"Would you shut up? I haven't even checked yet " I said while grabbing the phone.

I read the screen. To my surprise it was just Nathan.

*From Nathan*

"Hey Elaine!! So what did you think of Josh?"

"False alarm girls its only Nathan" I said while answering the text.

"Ugh boring! Tell my brother to get a life" Valerie said

*From me*

"Sup Nathan! Josh was really cool! Thanks for introducing him to us!"

I pressed send.

"Well girls I'm going to take a shower, and hit the hay" I said while already walking up the stairs.

"I'm sure your just going to stalk Josh's Facebook on your laptop" Valerie said while laughing

"How do you even know he has one?" I said while turning on my heel and facing the two girls.

"Oh gosh Valerie I think you just gave Elaine a GREAT idea" Isabella said as she started giggling.

"Shut up you two" I said.

I returned to walking up the stairs and I got another text from Nathan

*From Nathan*

"No problem! He seemed to really like you Elaine. He hasn't stopped talking about you the whole car ride. I wouldn't blame him though.You looked amazing!"

*From me*

"Oh stop it you!! Thanks Nathan :) Well I'm off to bed! Good night"

And almost instantly... my phone buzzed

*From Nathan*

"Good night :)"

I was so happy to have such good people in my life! And by the looks of it.. I might have another

I threw the phone on my bed, grabbed the folded pj's on my desk, and headed straight for the bathroom.

As soon as the warm water hit my body I instantly felt a sigh of relief. So I'm a bit confused.. Why hasn't Josh texted me yet? He probably didn't feel like it.. Does that mean he doesn't like me? Of course he does Nathan said so himself.. Oh my god I'm overthinking everything WAY too much..

I looked down at my hands.. or what seemed to be wrinkled up prunes.. I've been in here way too long.

I finished rinsing out the conditioner from my hair, and got out. I always loved the way my hair looked when it was wavy, so I put it into two fish tail braids, and put some leave in conditioner. As soon as I was done, I put on my pajamas, and threw myself on the bed. After checking a few things on my computer, I fell asleep.

Valerie's P.O.V

As soon as Elaine headed upstairs I turned to Isabella.

"So Isabella..." I trailed off while looking at the girl who was biting her lips. After Elaine left, she finally blurted out

"Oh my gosh Valerie did you see the way he looked at her? He really liked her!" She said with such a huge grin.

"I know!! I've never seen Elaine get so red over a guy before! In fact.. I think this is the first time she's admitted to us that she liked someone!! Not like we gave her any choice"

"I knew she liked him from the moment she heard his british accent" Isabella said.

"Yeah I know right? Well what can I say? British accents are freaking hot! I said

"Imagine? Imagine all of us dating british boys?" Isabella said while drifting off into a dreamland

"Okay okay stop drooling Isabella!" I said while grabbing her shoulders.

"Ahh.. Well with that I'm going to sleep! Lots of stuff to do tomorrow!"

"Like what?" I said while raising my eyebrows at her

"We have to get Elaine ready!! Remember?" she asked

"Right..." I said with a smile."Well hun I'm getting a bit tired!"

"Mmkay"

I walked up stairs, crashed on the bed, and fell fast asleep.

Isabella's P.O.V

I was utterly happy for Elaine! I was walking up to my bedroom when I decided to check my facebook. As I was doing some stalking on Elaine's profile, I saw something that immediently caught my attention... OH MY GOD....
