"When is the signing of contract?" tanong agad sakin ni Tito Lorenzo pagpasok ko ng opisina niya.

Hanggang ngayon ay kita pa rin ang tuwa sa mga mata niya. Inaasahan niya talagang tatanggapin ko nalang basta ang offer ng Del Fierro.

"There's no signing of contract."

Napatayo siya.

"The hell?! Anong iniisip mo? Itong deal nalang na 'to ang pag-asa natin ngayon! Almost half of our investors are pulling out because of your little stunt!"

"Ako? What did I do?"

"You just publicly announced the disappearance of your mother!"

"Nathalie!" sigaw ni Rafael.

"Im just telling facts, Raf!"

"Enough, Raf!" sabi ng ama niya bago ulit bumaling sakin. "What's your plan then?! I'm assuming you have a back up plan. After all, may lakas ka ng loob tanggihan ang offer ng anak ni Mr. Del Fierro." sarkastik na pahayag ni Tito.

"We'll make another proposal."

He scoffed. "That's your brilliant plan?! That's bullshit, Nathalie! He already offered tapos gusto mo pang mahirapan ulit?!"

"Dad's right, Ali. As of now, this is the only way. Maybe you can talk to him again."
