Happy New Year! I was experimenting with brushes today and so this is the result ^. I've actually improved in drawing eyes since my old ones didn't look natural but yet again, I drew that eye with my fingers rather than a pencil.

^This is how I used to draw them and it's weird seeing them like this since I would also draw the blushes different back then. The eye doesn't look natural at all since you could see the way the shade looks straight instead of smoothed out. I made a bunch of mistakes on the eye but I also remember how proud I was despite the eye looking unnatural without an iris.

I remember that for this drawing, it wasn't just going to be an eye but an actual girl. I was drawing the girl and it was going to be a simple sketch but I got to into the eye that I didn't know any way how to make the eye fit the girl. So I just kept it as that.
