Chapter 2 - Making enemies

There wasn't much to see. All the houses looked pretty much the same and there weren't many people out and about. Sighing, I decided that I would just drop the idea of exploring and go buy a coffee. That's when I realised, I don't know my way to the nearest café. I sighed again, only this time in frustration. I turned up the radio to be hearing 'Stay the Night' by Zedd ft. Hayley Williams. I started belting out the words along with her.

I know that we are upside down

So hold your tongue and hear me out

I know that we were made to break

So what? I don't mind

You kill the lights, I'll draw the blinds

Don't dull the sparkle in your eyes

I know that we were made to break

So what? I don't mind

Are you gonna stay the night?

Are you gonna stay the night?

Oh oh oh, are you gonna stay the night?

Are you gonna stay the night?

Doesn't mean we're bound for life

So oh oh oh, are you gonna stay the night?

Are you gonna stay the night?

Doesn't mean we're bound for life

So oh oh, are you gonna stay the night?

I am a fire, you're gasoline,

Come pour yourself all over me

We'll let this place go down in flames only one more time

You kill the lights, I'll draw the blinds

Don't dull the sparkle in your eyes

I know that we were made to break

So what? I don't mind

Are you gonna stay the night?

Are you gonna stay the night?

Oh oh oh, are you gonna stay the night?

Are you gonna stay the night? (we get burned!)

Doesn't mean we're bound for life (we never learn!)

So oh oh, are you gonna stay the night?

Night night night night night...

ARE YOU GONNA STAY THE NIGHT?!

Are you gonna stay the night?

Doesn't mean we're bound for life

So oh oh, are you gonna stay the night?

Are you gonna stay the night?

Are you gonna stay the night?

Oh oh oh oh.

Are you gonna stay the night?

The song finished just as I found a café. I smiled and pulled into a nearby parking space. Quickly grabbing the right amount of money, I hopped out and went inside and towards the counter.

The place was called The Coffee Club. The inside was coloured with a dark shade of green and the furniture was dark mahogany. There were about fifteen tables, all surrounded by four chairs. Displays, filled with cakes and muffins, were located next to the counter.
