Takeda gingerly opened the door, weary of its creeks. He put a finger to his mouth and turned to the silver cage that he was holding.
The lamp light switched on with a 'twak' to reveal an angry husband, sitting cross legged near the lamp that was used to turn on said light. He had an expression of pure irritation, being surrounded by cats and a passed out daughter. Takeda shivered in fear at the sight of him, cowering when he was approached.

"Don't tell me you bought more cats" the husband said, placing a hand on his shoulder menacingly.

Takeda fiddled with his fingers before putting down the cage. He gave Ukai a guilty look while smiling. He knew that cats here were expensive as heck. But, cuteness was surely worth more than the money. Not to mention, Ukai's family was quite wealthy with several malls and convenience stores scattered across Japan and some parts of SouthEast Asia. Although, with the newest addition to the family that had the help of a very kind surrogate mother, the current total count of 10 cats, and the expenses of their other daughter of a different surrogate mother, the prices would surely add up.

They were so cute though.

Ukai stared down Takeda sternly before rolling his eyes and grinning. He was quite use to Takeda's shenanigans, as a partner in coaching, as roommates, and now. He, instead, turned his attention to the cat cage that was quite a tight fit for 4 cats but fit nonetheless. The cats were all a vast array of fur colors. One was a bengal cat that was a creamy yellow color and had barely any stripes except for the dots on his stomach. One hid behind the bengal, a fluffy black cat with green eyes and white frontal paws that looked like fog or smoke. One was a sleek, lean, British short-hair with clear blue eyes that shone like the night sky. Oh, and it had black fur too. The last one, most probably a runt, was a tiny but skinny cat that was backed into the corner of the cage. It had a curly mop of fur and looked pretty terrified by the big cats that he was surrounded by.

He reached out to stroke the orange one but he recoiled, mewing loudly. Soon after, Ukai's other cats joined in the commotion to see what was going on. Daichi, another black cat with brown eyes and white surrounding his stomach. Suga, a whitish grey cat with darker grey stripes which made him look like a tiger but was actually pretty fluffy. This made him look intimidating yet cute and friendly. Asahi, a large brown cat that had more bulk, he had darker brown splashed onto his back and it led all the way to his tail. Noya, A small and fluffy Siamese cat with creamy yellow acting as bangs. Noya also had black frontal paws and a scar on his ear and tail. Tanaka, a pure bred British shorthair with hair that went everywhere . Ennoshita, a dark brown cat with grey trailing his sides and stomach.

Ukai grinned, his husband sure did have a thing for darker colored cats. Though, he wondered why he would take such a brightly colored orange cat, a runt no less. Slowly, he opened the metal mesh cage, letting the cats interact with each other. He soon observed his 3 year-old daughter, Kiyoko, holding food bowls and observing the cats from behind Takeda. Suga immediately went to the new cats and licked their fur. Ukai chuckled when his bengal sprung away out of annoyance, the fluffy black cat trailing after him. The orange colored cat seemed to admire Tanaka and Noya but was backed against the cage when they got close.

Takeda turned to Kiyoko, patting her on the back. "Two of them already have names but you can give them their own."

Kiyoko turned her head curiously at her father and asked what their names were.

Takeda pointed at the sleek and lean cat and said "Kageyama" he pointed to the orange one and said "Hinata".

"You can name the two other though." Takeda smiled and gently nudged her towards the bengal who was licking his fur and the black cat who was comfortably laying down with his stomach exposed.
