"Farewell, friends! There are princesses to save and dragon-witches to slay!" Roman said as he waved goodbye to the others in the mind place. The other three waved goodbye, Virgil never taking his eyes off the princely trait as he left for the imagination.

Not long after Roman left, Patton vanished into the kitchen to make cookies, leaving the anxious and logical sides alone in the living room. They were quiet for a few moments, Logan focusing on his book and Virgil glued to his phone.

After a few minutes of deafening silence, Virgil looked up from Tumblr to see Logan smiling ear to ear.

"Why are you smiling like that? You look suspiciously like the cat who swallowed the pigeon"

Logan lost his amused grin, rolling his eyes before saying: "Canary."

Virgil blinked. "...what?"

"I look like the cat that swallowed the canary."

"I once had a very large cat- not my point. My point is: why are you smirking?"

Logan's cheshire smile returned. "You were watching him. With great interest might I add. You were enraptured."

The anxious trait's cheeks warmed. He didn't think anyone noticed him staring! "H-He's our leader! I look to him for guidance!" he defended, his voice breaking slightly.

"Oh, I see." Logan looked up, a playing glimmer in his eyes. Virgil didn't think Logan had any playfulness in him. Unnerving didn't even begin to describe it. "So what guidance did you find in those swaying hips, hm?"

The pink tinge on Virgil's face turned bright red. "No no no! I wasn't looking at, you know, his... hind quarters..."

"Certainly~."

Virgil was in a full-blown panic at this point. "I gazed-glanced-in his direction, maybe, but I wasn't staring! Or really seeing anything even!"

Logan chuckled, going back to his book after saying, "Of course," in an amused voice. Virgil pulled his hood over his head, tightening the stings so his lobster red face was fully hidden away.

"I hate you. You're a bad person."
