Hi, I'm Arabella McMello. A 6th grader at HeartWood Private School. Yeah, I know what your thinking. 'Oh great, a prep'. Well, it's your lucky day, bud, 'cause I'm not. My story begins two weeks into the school year. When Stacey Nickerson, the hottest and most popular girl in the 6th grade, ruined my life.

Let me tell you about Stacey. She's the number one girl. All the boys drool at the thought of her. She has long, curly blonde hair, with hazel eyes. She's as thin as a shapely twig. Let me put it this way, she's a blonde haired, hazel eyed, shapely, stuck up, snob. But, what can you expect at a private school. Just what is listed above.

On with the story. Stacey knew i had a crush on Porter Wilkins, I'll explain why later, and as soon as she had the chance, she manipulated him into falling for her. It was horrible. He was obsessed with her and she had no feelings for him at all.

Anyways. Porter Wilkins. How should I put this... he's as hot as the sun! And aside from being a total hunk, he actually has a great personality. He loves to read. He can keep up a good conversation. And he just has a way with the ladies.

Anyhow, it took Porter three weeks to realize he was being used. He was so infuriated with Stacey. When he got to school the next day, as soon as he found Stacey, he ripped her a new one.

She was dumb founded when he told her off. Her jaw dropped in amazement. Of course, no one had EVER talked to her like that. I mean, she was the queen bee. Not anymore. After that, no one talked to Stacey at all. She became a social reject. But only for a month. Then my life became a living h-e-double-hockey-sticks all over again.. times two. Left and right, she was pulling pranks and spreading rumors. When I sat down in Math one day, i became glued to my chair... and the chair to the floor. And next thing you know, everyone thinks I was adopted into a new family when I was eight because my real parents were druggies (completely untrue). More rumors were spread and just as many pranks were pulled. But I'm not going to bore you with the details to each one. After three weeks, it stopped. Two days later, when I was in History, i was talking to Porter. We were talking about our favorite books, when Little Miss Priss, Stacey, walked past us and interrupted. "If I'm right, which i always am, you are sitting in my seat." Straight from the mouth of Stacey. And I replied with, "If I'm right, I don't believe i see a plaque with 'Stacey The Snob Nickerson' written on it, so i believe you can be on your way."

Yeah, that's right. Me, Arabella the nice girl, has a rude side. It surprises everyone, sometimes even me. But it didn't surprise Stacey. Although, it did wipe the smirk off of her face and replaced it with an angry glare. She didn't say anything more about it, but she made sure to glare at me all through History. Three periods later, it was time for lunch.

I would normally sit down at an empty table with some of my friends. But today was different. I ended up sitting with Porter. One table, eight seats, two filled, six empty. That's right. It was only me and Porter.

"Hey, so I was wondering if you wanted to go to a movie with me on Friday." Out came the words from Porter's mouth. I felt myself instantly blush. "Yeah, sure, I'd love to." I answered, moments later. "While, my mom will drive us to the theater. Is six ok with you?" Porter asked. I answered, "That's fine with me." The rest of lunch was silent. And the rest of the day went by in a flash. I was so excited to go out with Porter. But it was only Wednesday.
