Have you ever looked down your body while standing up? look down and see a bulge of a belly? Not flatness but something there before your dick, even when hard you don't see it! Barnabas had this problem, but more disconcerting was the fact he was an athlete, and a sportsman. often getting picked at a high priority in teams. A six year old should not have these issues, mainly the scared thoughts of being fat or wanting to reduce body size.
'The mirror lies' Barnabas says to himself almost daily, as naked as he is trying to admire himself, yes skinny small and you can see ribs as if skin is stretched over them, like a washboard. convinced by everyone and everything he slumps himself back down.
The road this summers day was quiet, suspiciously so considering living next to a military base. (Not airfield!) Nothing is quiet in Parkwood, when it is means someone or something is happening. The fir trees not even holding thier whispers as the wind passes through them, something will go awry.
Down the hall, stairs next passed the creepy book who would want to read a book with a giant black spot on it? The rim of the spot coated finely with a gold lace, in the middle what appeared to be a blazing sun but in closer inspection twas oval in shape almost like an eye.
