Goodness! Banker is writing a novella when she's got two mock exams (that she hasn't revised for) at the end of January, a tonne of coursework to complete, and is 25,000 words deep into her original novel... how typical of her. She's her own worst enemy...
Anywho! This novella is based on prompt number 5 from the 'Speculative Fiction' section of this year's OpenNovellaContest : Time Travel. Now, Wattpad said that the novella must be "based loosely or rigidly on the ideas provided", so I'm going to use my artistic license here and base my story mostly on the prompt, but adding elements of my own.
The characters consist of Ellie Finchley (a young woman who lives with her husband in their relatively remote old farm cottage in the English countryside) and V. J Henry (a time traveller from Victorian England who is on a mission to stop a dangerous group of thieves from stealing the most powerful piece of time travelling equipment).
WARNING: this book contains violence, death, blood, injuries, dark themes, absurdities involving time travel, and several cases of historical inaccuracies (even though I love history, I'm only knowledgable in certain areas. I try my best to be as accurate as possible...). You've been warned, but please enjoy as I bullsh*t my way to 20,000 words whilst suffering in reality. It's what I do best!
P.S- the title is a working one and I may or may not change it... depending if I can use my brain and think of something better. Also, I may or may not give this up as a bad job, BUT we shall see... anyway, enjoy!
