"Vee, what do you want to drink?" asked Jessica, my best friend.
I looked up from my phone, "Hot chocolate with whipped cream," I grinned.
"Hot chocolate?" she said.
I shrugged. "Oh and we're boarding soon so hurry up."
She nodded and left to Starbucks to get our drinks.
So let me tell you what's happening here. Me and my two best friends, Jessica and Jenni, are traveling to Paris for two weeks. Jessica and Jenni were step-sisters. Jessica's older sister was getting married in Paris so the three of us were traveling to attend the wedding. Jenni is gorgeous. She has lightly tanned skin with wide brown eyes and dark brown hair that passed her shoulders. She was 16 just like the rest of us and was as tall as us- 5'6 ft. Jessica is gorgeous as well. Her skin was perfectly tanned. She had dark brown eyes and dark brown hair. I, Vee, was nowhere as tanned as Jessica. I had light brown eyes and light brown hair that reached my shoulders. We were so different, but we clicked on automatically ever since we were 6. So now, we were waiting in Sydney's airport for our flight to Paris.
"Vee!" Jenni said as she rushed towards me.
"Yeah?"
"You have to see it!" she said, tugging on my wrist. I had no idea what she was talking about, but I put my phone in my bag and slung it on one shoulder and followed her. She pulled me into a jewellery store and pointed at a gorgeous butterfly necklace.
"PLEASE!" she said. "It would look gorgeous on you, please please please?"
I nodded and hurried over to the counter where I paid for it. Then, Jenni and I both rushed out of the store where we met Jessica. She handed us our drinks and we walked to the line that was forming in the boarding area. When we were in front of the line, we handed the lady our tickets. She smiled, "Have a safe flight girls."
I returned her smile as we walked onto the plane. When we stepped on the plane, we were greeted with many 'hello's and 'good morning's. I smiled and scanned the numbers above the seats, looking for row number '4' where our seats were.
"I get the window!" Jessica sang as she ran to the window seat and sat down. I stuck my tongue out. "Jenni, could you sit in the middle?" I said. I hated sitting in the middle.
"Yeah sure," mumbled Jenni as she texted someone.
"Jake?" I asked her. Jake was her boyfriend for 6 months but lately, their relationship wasn't going too great. He was barely talking to her anymore. Even though we all warned her about his player act, she loved him and wouldn't listen to us. She nodded and bit her lower lip."He wants us to take a break."
"WHAT?!" I said, drawing attention to us. Jenni ushered me to sit down so she sat in the middle and I sat on the aisle seat.
Jessica's eyes landed on us and questioned us what happened.
"Jake wants to break up with Jenni," I said quickly.
"Vee! He doesn't want to break up. He said he needs a break!" Jenni defended him. Jessica was flaming with anger. I could tell but she was trying to stay calm.
"Girls, let's just be happy now. Nothing will get in our way. No problems, no drama. It's Paris. Let's enjoy it to the maximum okay?" I said. I was surprised I was being so optimistic. I was usually the party pooper. They slowly nodded and grinned.
"Paris, here we come," Jenni said.

"JAI!" Luke, my twin brother, shouted.
"What?" I said, looking up from my temple run game.
"Oh nevermind," he smirked.
"Screw you. I was going to beat my high score," I groaned.
"You're such a fucker," Beau, my older brother said. Luke and Beau both started snickering. Beau was my 18 year old brother. He had olive green eyes and brown straight hair that was usually swept to the side under a snapback.
Luke was my twin brother. We looked alike- brownish hazel eyes and brown hair. Except he had a little birthmark on the bridge of his nose and I had fuller cheeks. We were both tall and we were both 17. He was two minutes older than me.
We were all going to Beau's best friends wedding in Paris. He was getting married and invited us to the wedding which was in two weeks.
I rolled my eyes and put my beats on, switching my iPod to shuffle. Even the loudest volume couldn't drown Beau and Luke's comments. I wasn't in the mood.
I took my beats off and looked at them. "Guys, could you seriously shut the duxk up right now? I'm not in the mood."
Luke let out a long breath. "You can't even get over her. You can't get that someone can dump you. You shouldn't mope around about her. Just get over her."
Beau nodded. "Yeah Jai. You can't accept the fact that you can play someone. You're so sensitive that you cried after she broke up with you."
"That's not true!" I defended. "I can be a player!"
Beau and Luke both burst out laughing. "Fine. The first girl you meet in Paris will be the girl you have to play. You have to hang out with her, make her fall for you, ask her out, and then dump her just like Kate did with you," Beau said.
It was true. My first and only girlfriend, Kate, dumped me three days ago. She was a slut. When I told her I couldn't have sex with her, she dumped me the next day. I loved her but to her, I was just another toy.
Beau and Luke think I'm a wimp and a coward. I'll just have to prove them wrong. "Deal. Now can you shut up?" I said.
Both Luke and Beau's eyes widened. "You'll play a girl?"
I shrugged. "Why not? It'll prove you guys wrong and me right. And it'll help me get over Kate."
"Jai, the player," Luke announced with a smirk. "I like it brother. Too bad you'll break from the first day."
I snorted. "You'll see. You'll see."
"Flight 0367 from Melbourne to Paris is now boarding."
Let the games begin.
