Baby bird blue flew.
Her mother never knew,
What to say to baby bird blue.
And baby bird blue,

She just flew.

Til her feathers began to singe,
From the heat of the sun.
Til her energy burned out,
From the heights that she jumped.
She didn't feel her actions.
The wind comforting her as she flew,

For she kissed the sun.
And she couldn't feel not even a bruise.
And her mother never knew.
Cause baby bird blue,
Kept flying through and through.
Until her feathers burned through.
Until her feathers burned through.
