"Wait, you got these from home?! Where were you last night?" I ask."I..went home to just see the place, it's been moths since I last visited and also I had to lock the doors and stuff," he mumbles.
"Jungkook you should have informed, what if something had happened?"
"Noona, what would happen? It's not lik-"
"Quit arguing you two!" Taehyung shouts. We both turn our attention to him.
"Get ready already," he sighs.
"Ah! Yea okay," I fall silent. Jungkook starts giggling again.
"What do you find so funny?" I glare at him as I slowly make my way to the bathroom.
The doctor had adviced me to try walking now, though I couldn't put a lot of weight on that leg I managed to limp.In a few minutes I was done and so I left the bathroom. Opening the door I find myself staring at a shy Jungkook, a confused Taehyung and a awkward looking Lisa. I lift an eyebrow as I enter the room.
"Lisa?! You're here," I smile.
"Yea, I heard about everything...I'm sorry for your loss," she mumbles as she walks closer to me.
I smile at her sadly, it's been long since I last met her and such a kind of meeting? For such a reason? I din't like it.
I sit beside her on the bed as she starts fiddling with her bag.
She smiles as she turns around, passing me a bundle of sheets."What's this?" I raise a brow.
"Notes, from all the classes you missed," she smiles.
"Lisa, you yourself wouldn't take down notes during classes and you did this for she?"
"Yes, anything for my queen," she whispers, snickering.
"Thank you," I engulf her in hug.
"Uh..Jennie it's getting late, we gotta leave," Taehyung says suddenly.
"Yea sure," I bob my head.
"Okay yea, sorry I'm disturbing you but I've got to go too," Lisa stands up.
"I'm leaving then, meet you in class," she says as she starts walking towards the door.
"Bye!" I shout as she leaves. I turn back around to face a wide eyed Jungkook.
"Let's get moving then," Taehyung says softly.
"Yea," I brush my skirt as a fail attempt to straighten it out.
"Yah! Jungkook, What are you staring at?" I shout.
"Ah! Nothing," he says as he stands.
I somehow manage to limp all the way to the door. Somehow this little bullet wound had managed to drain my energy.
"You need help?" Jungkook piped in.
"Ah no it's alright, I'll manage," I deny.
"You could use the wheel chair," Taehyung mumbles.
"Ah no," I look away. Somehow I din't want to be seated on that again. It made me feel helpless.
Leaning on to the wall for support I walk up to the elevator.
Taehyung and Jungkook walk closely behind me, their frowns visible. As we leave the hospital building, Taehyung swiftly walks toward the parking.
"I thought we were taking the bus?!" I shout only for both of them to ignore.
"Okay I'm sorry!" They continue ignoring.
"Jungkook! I feel nauseous, help!" I shout. He stops walking. Turning around he glares at me as he continues to walk. Taehyung on the other hand has disappeared from my
vision."Okay! I'm sorry, now help me get to wherever you guys are going to," I shout.
At this Jungkook turns back around, walking slowly towards me.
"Noona, you need to learn to take help from others," he sighs as he moves beside me. Lifting up my hand he places it on my his shoulder."Uh you're so annoying," I sigh.
"What did you say?" He pouts.
"Nothing," I mutter.
" I heard you, now say the magical words or else I'm gonna leave you behind," he says sternly.
"Sorry!" I mutter grumpily.
"Good," he mumbles.
Moving slowly towards the parking we finally stop before a car. Taehyung sits on the driver's seat, fiddling with the controls and Jungkook taps on the window to get his attention. Immediately a click sound is heard and Jungkook opens the door.
"I sit in the front," I move ahead of him.
"Whatever," he sighs as he moves behind.
Seating myself, I buckle the seat belt.
"I thought you couldn't drive," I look at Taehyung.
"I never said that," he scrunches his nose.
"Let's move already!" Jungkook says and so we start.
After a ride of about fifteen minutes we've finally reached. I get down slowly.
"Where's mom?" I ask Jungkook.
"Here, follow me," and so I do with a little help from Taehyung.
"There, she's right there. Beside dad," he smiles sadly.
We had earlier stopped to get some flowers and I bend down as I place the flowers.
'Why did you do this?'
That's all I'm first able to think of. Jungkook does the same. He kneels down beside me, looking sorrowfully ahead of him.'Only if nothing had happened..only if we were a normal family.'
A normal family was just as similar to a blessed life.
The tears streak down my cheeks at this. I carefully stand up, trying my best to not put any weight on to the other leg.I move a little to the right, just a little in front of where dad was lying now. The grass on his showed how many years had passed while in mum's, the sand still seemed to be wet.
'I missed you."
A little sob leaves my mouth. At this Taehyung moves beside me to reach out to me.
He then kneels down beside me. Engulfing me in a hug. I cry out now."What's a normal family supposed to look like?" I manage to whisper between my sobs.
I could hear Jungkook sniffing and I shiver. Taehyung holds on tighter. Rubbing soothing circles on to my back.
"It's okay Jennie, it's all going to be alright," he whispers.
I nod in his hold. Breaking the hug, I feel his warmth leave my body.
I then turn around to Jungkook who wipes off his tears."Shouldn't we leave, I think I would end up bawling my eyes out if I sat longer," he chuckles sadly.
I nod as I help myself to stand.
'See you later.' I mutter to my parents.
