Chapter 5: Band Practice

~Luke's POV~

As everyone was talking I was just silent.I kinda only wanted Natalie to come tonight.

Im not saying I don't like Sophia and Louise but it's just that...i kinda like Natalie but I don't know if she likes me back.Besides,we only met two days ago.

~Natalie's POV~

Finally the school day ended.

I walked up to Luke as he was still putting stuff in his bag.

"Ready?" I asked.

"Yep" he replied.

I realized that Alexa was just staring at us...like a creep.

"Looks like your admire is creeping." I said.

He looked over but Alexa quickly turned away.

"Let's go" He said.

"So have you met your new drummer before?" I asked.

"No,tonight we're gonna meet him for the first time." He said.

"What if he's mean?" I asked

"Micheal said he's pretty nice,but he's 2 years older."

"Oh"

We were just talking until Alexa drives towards us.

"Hey Luke,need a ride?" she asked.

"No..." He replied.

"Are you gonna walk with the loser?"

She said.

She's starting to get on my nerve.

I glared at her.

"Yes and she's not a loser." Luke said.

"Whatever." she drives off.

"I feel like she says "whatever" way too much." I laughed.

I soon realized Luke wasn't laughing with me so I stopped.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.

"I just don't like her calling you a loser...or calling any of my friends a loser."

"Don't worry,it doesn't bother me" I smiled.

"You sure?" he asked.

"Yep.Shes not the first bully I've met.But she's definetly the worse one so far." I laughed.

At least this time he was laughing with me.

We arrived at my place.

"I'll go to your place at 6." I said.

"Ok.Are you gonna walk alone?If you are,i can walk with you." he said.

"No it's fine.Im walking with Sophia and Louise."

"Oh okay." he said.

"I'll see you later." I waved.

2 hours later.

I got ready then waited for Soph and Lou.

They knocked on my door.

"Hey." Soph said.

"Hi" I replied.

"Ready?" Lou asked.

"Yea" I said.

A walk from my place to Luke's isn't that far.I would say a 10 minute walk.So we quickly arrived.

We knocked on the door.Luke opens it.

"Hi guys." he said.

We all said Hi then went in.

"This is Ashton by the way" Luke said.

We all introduced ourselves then the boys got ready to practice.

"One,two,three,four." Ash said.

"For a while we pretended that we never had to end it."

Lukes voice was amazing.

"But we knew we'd had to say goodbye..."

"You were crying at the airport,when they finally closed the plane door,i could barely hold it all inside."

We clapped as they finished the song.

"You guys sound amazing!" Lou said.

"Thanks." Luke replied.

After they practiced we were all just hanging out;watching movies,playing games,and other stuff.

We left at 9 and I walked home.

Tonight was fun.
