more than once, mother and her brothers have discreetly sent stern, intimidating (not really) gazes to seulgi's direction, as a reminder for her to straighten up instead of sprawling on the seat with utter arrogance as though she owned the place, but seulgi remains unaffected, or at least until the youngest of her uncles practically leaves his seat to come to her. instinctively, seulgi glances at the newcomers, and instantly figures out the reason.

one, she is an asshole, quoted from the women around.

seulgi is not so bad as a daughter, grateful to mother for teaching, training and taking care of her with all the love and hope. she is also anything but a disappointment of an alpha; strong, well-built, confident, dominant. but a responsible leader? not so much. the whole gang has been scared to death not only once, to find out how she sauntered from area to area, bedding every female catching her eyes, regardless of their ranks or relationship status, rivals or allies alike. it would still be an understatement to say they all have tried to convince her to quit this licentious lifestyle at least once, yet none succeeded, or had a sliver chance to succeed.

two, there is a pretty little female omega.

she sticks to the other leader then bashfully retreats behind him probably upon the overwhelming pheromones. the delicious smell from her could be felt from this distance between them, and seulgi didn't even hide the devilish smirk curving her lips upwards. with this much of curiosity, she couldn't be more glad when a senior spoke up and demanded the younger ones to leave for a while and come back if called only. the juniors are all rather displeased at this discrimination, except for seulgi. in contradiction with the eagerness surging up inside, she procrastinated to be the last to step out, right behind the meek omega.

it's rude to snatch a girl by the shoulders from behind as a greeting, but she is kang seulgi. her fingers dipped into the soft flesh as if to emphasize her dominance then released, and turned the smaller around to face the prettiest eyes she'd ever seen. "hello, pretty thing. would you like to take a walk with me?" it wasn't really a question, as she already ushered her along with. "what's your name?"

"i'm - i can't speak to you, my father won't allow it. our families--" a violent crimson creeps up her cheeks at the key word, 'pretty', perhaps a little because of her sudden awkward outburst too. the omega contemplates the consequences of disrespecting the higher ranking wolves she has seen, then adds. "my name is bae irene, alpha."

if only seulgi was as determined and interested in the clan's deals as she was in the act of toying with pretty little dolls, sure mother and uncles will die of dehydration for crying too much joyful tears. she's got rid of whatever should and would happen inside the conference hall just in a blink of one's eyes, unfazed by the mention of a strict father as she advances a grand step by snaking an arm around the female and keeping her utterly close in a totally different way from how her father was literally covering her away from scrutinizing eyes, fingers dancing with the dainty bows decorating the waist line as if she's going to rip them off just any moment.

"but you've already spoken to me. quite a lot actually." the fine brow arches in smug amusement at the flustered visage, utterly entertained by the doe eyes. "irene? bae? so you're more of a sweet prey rather than a predator, hm?" by all means, the name wasn't suitable for a wolf, but the female doesn't look like one anyways.

they crossed the garden to the left wing of the expansive manor, which the owner was generous enough to offer to seulgi's pack as a temporary abode. a blatant biased treatment, really. but who isn't aware of how great seulgi potentially is as an alpha? to buy the powerful clan's sympathy is a strategic move plan. should there be conflicts or heated arguments between the elders, seulgi believes the supposed to be host would take their side.
