Scream It Out Loud

Dougie looked at the girl who were lying unconscious on the hospital bed.

He couldn't believe he was the reason for her state she was in now.

The young 18 year old girl. The girl he loved with all his heart, where now lying unconscious in a hospital bed.

He turned around as he heard Chloe shout in horror of what she had seen.

Dougie where lying naked on the bed he shared with her, but this time, it wasn't Chloe he had on him, but her best friend for 10 years, Rain.

Rain had always had a huge crush on Dougie but she had never told anyone, and now when Chloe were out of town visiting her parents, she took it as an opportunity to get him for herself. None of them knew that Chloe were on her way home at that right minute.

Rain had undressed him while he was sleeping and tied him to the bed so he were unable to escape, he had woken up when she tied him.

He watched her getting undressed and it made him hot.

She climbed on top of him, and that's when Chloe came inside.

She screamed and ran out of the house and back to the car and drove off.

Dougie had tried his best to run after her, but he couldn't, he were stuck in bed with Rain on top of him,refusing to get off.

And that's the reason why Chloe where now lying unconscious in hospital.

People are saying she tried to kill herself, someone say she was already unconscious when she crashed into the mountainside. And someone say she were sleeping or distracted by something else and ended up on the wrong side of the road and got hit by the truck.

“It's all because of me” he whispered holding onto her hand tightly.

The door got opened slowly which made Dougie to look up. The person who stood in the doorway made him angry, she had no reason to be there.

“Rain” he mumbled angrily. She rushed over to the side of the bed and took Chloe's right hand holding it tightly.

“I'm so sorry sweetie, we didn't think you would come home, I'm sorry, we should have told you about us before” she cried hugging Chloe's hand.

The words Rain had said screamed in Dougie's ear.

She had told Chloe they had an affair, which weren't true at all.

She had raped him! Yes, it sound weird. But it was the truth.

He let go of his girlfriends hand and stood up from the chair and walked straight over to Rain and pulling her up by her hair dragging her out of the room.

“Just so it's clear for you! We never had an affair! I never liked you! You raped me for god sake! And now you come in here, while I'm listening, telling you unconscious girlfriend that we had an affair and we have had it for years? You're sick!” he shouted at her slamming her into the wall.

Rain broke down in tears in pain.

“Stop lying! You're the one who's lying! We were together even long before you met Chloe!” she cried.

“I knew you long before I met Chloe, and that's because you're my cousin you freak, you're a disgusting worm!” he snapped at her which made her cry even more.

He went back into the room and closed and locked the door behind him before he walked back to the hospital bed where Chloe were lying in silence.

“Never give in, Hope is all we have And all we ever known, Never fear it, but you gotta hear me out. So scream it out loud” Dougie sang. For some reason he felt like it fitted the situation right now.

Chloe had woken up while Dougie where out in the hall shouting at Rain, she had heard every single word he had said. And she was not just pretending to be asleep. She slowly opened one eyes a little to see if Dougie where still there.

He was lying faced down in the covers still holding onto her hand.

“I will never forgive you, but I believe you” she whispered.

“There's no need to scream it out loud” she whispered.

He looked up at the fully awake Chloe and smiled at her.

“I will never do that to you again, and I had no intention to do it before. I'm so terrible sorry” he whispered. “please try to forgive me” he continued.

She looked at him with eyes that told him she wouldn't forgive him until he had proven for her that she could trust him again.

“I still love you, I will always love you” he said and kissed her hand softly.
