3) Confronting Taehyung

People started to leave, however Jimin stayed waiting for Taehyung to be available to talk to. Taehyung was currently talking to Jin.

Jimin was a bit nervous confronting Taehyung. Though he knew he had to. He had never felt this way towards any girl before and even though they've just met, it feels like they've known each other for years!

Jin and Taehyung finally stopped talking so Jimin could ask Taehyung about N. He had planned to tell Taehyung about his feelings but somehow he just couldn't. When looking at Taehyung, Jimin just...couldn't.

Taehyung: "Jiminie Hyung, what's up?"
Jimin: "Just...uhh...that girl you introduced.... can you tell me more about her?"
Taehyung: "Why hyung? Do you like her?"
Jimin: "Oh...uhh...no...I was just asking... she just seemed really...uhh.. friendly and yeah..."
Taehyung: "Oh...well, she's my best friend"
Jimin: "I know but, tell me more about her"
Taehyung: "Oh my god. Hyung, you really do like her..."
Jimin: "No, I don't....I'm just curious"
Taehyung: "Hmm, okay. Sorry but I'm late for my bus, we'll talk later hyung..."
Jimin: "Okay..."

Oh god. Jimin knew he shouldn't have asked about N. It's just that Taehyung looked so... innocent, and Jimin wasn't sure what to do. What if Taehyung actually liked her too. Or if he wouldn't want Jimin to date her, all that stuff.

Later on, as days passed, N had been spending more and more time with the boys. It was nice yet so awkward that Jimin couldn't do it anymore. He really wanted to talk to N about his feelings but he was afraid.

Actually, N was coming today and Jimin talked to Suga before N came.

Suga: "So? Is she single? Did you get permission to date her?"
Jimin: "Ssshhhhh hyung, Tae could hear you"
Suga: "I guess you didn't really speak to him about your true feelings huh?"
Jimin: "I just...couldn't for some reason, you know it just felt...wrong"
Suga: "Well, she's here now so....now is your chance"
Jimin: "No no no, hyung what are you saying. I can't-" he said as he got interrupted. Not by Suga, but by seeing Taehyung and N hugging each other.

It made Jimin feel something... jealousy.., even though he didn't date her nor could he call her his. Suga noticed that Jimin stopped talking, he noticed the look he had on his face.

Suga: "Chill Jimin-ah, it's just a hug. And remember they are best friends after all"
Jimin: "Yeah...you're right ahh hyung what do I do"
Suga: "I mean, you can't really get mad at her for hugging her best friend. But hey, I may have a plan. It might not work but...yeah"
Jimin: "What is it?"
Suga: "I could act drunk and ask her if she has a boyfriend and stuff. Like I could talk about you, you know tell her all the good things that you can offer"
Jimin: "But hyung, she's just gonna think you're weird. Besides, even if she actually doesn't have a boyfriend, she could lie and say she has one just to protect herself"
Suga: "Damnit, you're right. Man this is hard. You'll just have to talk to Taehyung-ah, he's her best friend and I'm sure he'll help you"
Jimin: "God, why does she have to be best friends with Taehyung-ah. If she wasn't, I wouldn't need his approval"
Suga: "Yeah but think about it. Because they are best friends, he can help you"
Jimin: "I really hope so..."
