                                              "you said you loved me! How could you! I trusted you and gave you everything and look at where we are, right at the beginning" I screamed at Derek. I couldn't take the lies anymore. This was it.  No more and never again was in going to let some stupid guy break my heart. 
                          "Baby I love you! I'm not lying.  What Krista said is a lie.  I never slept with her. Your the one I want not her.  She's just jealous I'm with you. You should-"
                          "stop I don't want to hear it. I know what comes next. " with a one last breath I turned around and walked away. He never expected me not to believe him and was speechless. I kept walking refusing to let the tears to come down. 

                          "wait!-" I blocked it all out, not bothering to listen to the words coming out of his mouth.  
                          This was the new me.  Melissa the pushover was gone. I got got into my car and turned on the music to the point where I couldn't hear anything but the words coming from the stereo.  This was it.
