*FLASH BACK TO LAST SUMMER*
"I'm gonna miss you." Mikey admitted looking at the ground.
"I'm gonna miss you too." I sighed placing my hand on my head.
"Promise me next summer we will pick up where we're leaving off?" Mikey asked looking into my eyes.
"I promise." I replied looking back into his green eyes.
"Goodbye, Mollie." Mikey sighed pulling me into a hug.
"Goodbye, Mikey." I whispered, quickly wiping the tear off of my face.
We continued hugging for another minute before I pulled away. I took a deep breath and looked at Mikey's sad face. I coulldn't help but cry. Tears flowed from my cheeks.
"Mollie don't be sad." Mikey quietly sad.
I ran towards my camper and let the tears flow. When I approached my camper I dried my tears and walked into the camper. I grabbed my two bags and threw them into the truck.
*END OF FLASH BACK*
"MOLLIE!" My dad shouted, now for the third time.
"W-what?" I asked snapping out of my thoughts.
"I said, do you want to go into the store with me?" My father repeated himself for the third time now.
"Oh, um, sure." I replied smiling.
My dad pulled into the Piggly Wiggly parking lot. I slid my NIKE soccer sandals back on and climbed out of the truck. I smelt the fresh summer breeze and smiled.
School starts in 2 weeks and I hadn't done anything that fun, but that's okay.
We walked into the small piggly wiggly and I grabbed a shopping cart. My dad grabbed a bag of dorito's from the shelf to the right of the door. We continued strolling around. The store was pretty much empty, but who cares. We walked over by the frozen pizza's and grabbed four of them. Two combination pizza's, and two supreme. We headed for the chips where we got tortilla chips and cheese caso dip. We approached the check out line as my dad gave the cashier his 'PIG CARD'
After we payed for everything I grabbed the two bags we had and threw them in the back of the truck next to my Brother, Kyle, and his girlfriend, Haley. She smiled at me as my friend Savannah yelled my name.
I wiped around and saw her standing behind me.
"Hey, Savannah!" I cheerfully greeted her.
"Hey, Molls. I gotta go, but I'll see you later." Savannah smiled before climbing back into her van. I climbed into the front of my dad's truck and stared out the window, again.
My dad played soft country music as we all fell silent. The only thing that was rushing through my mind was Will it be the same.
I knew Mikey and Tyler would be coming up because Tyler would not stop texting me about it. I didn't ask anything about Mikey because I knew things probably would have changed. We approached the campground and I began looking out the windshield.
As we passed the skate part I saw Tyler, Mikey, two guys, and two girls standing there. I looked back out the window at the empty cabins. We finally arrived at my camper and we started unpacking. After we were done Haley, Kyle, and I got onto my friend Destiny's golf cart.
We began driving around and when we passed the skate park I heard Tyler tell Mikey "Mollie's here." I looked at Mikey who's eyes widened. I looked at the bottom of the golf cart softly blushing.
We drove around for another hour until we found my father.
"Can you make the pizza's?" I asked my dad who was on our golf cart. He nodded and we continued driving. We passed Mikey's camper a few times and the girls were still there.
As we drove by Mikey's and my eyes locked.
"Oooh, who's that?" Haley teased.
"No one!" I blurted out quickly.. a little too quickly. Haley and Destiny exchanged glances before we pulled into Destiny's site.
