Let's start off mild (cause god knows many of you will hate me in later chapters).

We can't really ask is criticism is "good" but we can ask if it is useful.

So, is it useful? Well, in my opinion only if the person wants it.

Example:

*insert drawing of mary sue OC made by a 13 y/o*

Comment: hey, your characters eyes are too far apart...

Comment: THATS MEAN! BLOCKED.

See? Nothing happens its a waste of time.

Even if you point out where the person could improve some people would just not listen.

Also, criticism without explanation is also useless.
