"I'm not perfect, I'll annoy you,
I will make fun of you, say stupid things
but you'll never find someone
who loves you as much as I do"
~Unknown
"MOM, did Kuya Knight go home last night?" Malungkot na tanong ni Brynn.
What happened yesterday was too late for her to take it back. She thought that what she did last night was uncalled for and she regretted it.
The truth is, she doesn't care where Ethan wanted to be or who he wanted to be with. She felt so detached from him, he was so distant from her like he was from another planet.
For her, it's like, for the first time in their twin lives since they've known each other, ngayon pa parang naging malayo ang kambal sa kanya, hindi siya sanay.
Para bang katulad lang nung dati na hindi pa sila magkakilalang dalawa, palagi na lang parang may kung anong connection siyang nararamdaman with someone, out there somewhere, but could not put her fingers on.
"Yes, he did."
She knew,t right there and then, her parents disagreed with what she did last night. Of all the things that she doesn't like in this lifetime is to make her parents angry or hurt, especially her Mom, in any situation possible, she felt horrible.
"I'm sorry about last night. I didn't mean to make you all upset."
She should have known better not to make her mother upset, her family upset. She wasn't raised this way, and mostly, she should have known better not to act like a child since she's an adult now.
"Don't apologize to us, Brynn, apologize to your brother. He's the one hurting the most with what you did and said. Siya ang nasaktan sa tantrum fits mo." Brielle spoke calmly and lovingly and she didn't like that dahil mas lalo siyang nakokonsensya.
"Tantrum fit? It wasn't just a tantrum fit, Mom. I am trying to point out things to him. I am just annoyed because he is not telling me anything anymore. I know something is bothering him but yet, he chose to keep it to himself. I don't get it. He wasn't like that before." Bumabangon na naman ang pagkamaldita niya. Before things get out of hand again, her Dad stops her with what she's about to say.
"There you go again, Brynn. How old are you? 23? Going to be 24?" Her father asked sternly but full of calmness. Tumango naman siya. Napatingin siya dito, not understanding where her Dad is going with his questions.
