'Alex..?'
I looked up. it was Alice who had called my name. I stared puzzled at her.
'Uhm, yeah?'
'I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything. Sorry for not backing you up. Sorry for leaving you when you needed me te most. I'm so sorry. We said best friends forever, and I ruined that... is there anything I can do to win you back?' She looked honestly upset.
'You can give me a hug.' I smiled, and pulled her in a hug. I decided to just let it go, she was my bestfriend after all, and I was never the one to hold grudges.
I had already promised to eat with Jai and the boys, but since me, Alice, Lea, and Lea's friend Andrea had been getting along quite well during the history lesson I decided to ask them to join.
'Did you have plans with the Janoskians kids to eat?' asked Andrea worrily. 'We don't wanna interrupt..' Andrea frowned her dark eyebrows. She had dark, short and curly hair and blue eyes. I learned today she was Italian. Andrea was really easy going and she laughed all the time.
'It's ok, they'll probably appreciate your presence!' I smiled, and we approached a table of which Jai, Luke, Andrew and Tyla were sitting.
'Hi boys!' This is Alice, Lea and Andrea!' I thought I saw Jai's gaze froze at Alice for a moment, but he probably decided to let it go. I had introduced them in the order they stood, and they shook hands with the boys afterwards. We sat down and the conversations were flowing easily. I could see Andrea checking Luke out, flushing and giggling everytime he spoke to her. Luke looked amused. I smiled at them. I could suddenly feel someone stomping on my foot. I looked up and Jai's wonderful eyes met mine. I leaned in closer so he could whisper in my ear.
'Second date tonight, put on something nice and warm.'
Curiousity was threathning to take over my mind, but Jai refused to say anything else, he just gave me that adorable smile of his and told me to 'wait and see'.
As we left the cafeteria, I realised how perfect my life was just at this moment. I was going on a second date with Jai, Alice and I were friends again, and I had found new, amazing friends. Nothing could destroy my happiness, not even Jake calling me a 'cunt' as we passed.
