“Andrea! Get up or you're going to be late!”

Andrea woke up and rubbed her eyes, she looked at her phone, her alarm didn’t go off? It was 11am and she had to be out the house by 12.30pm. Panicking and in a rush, she jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to make herself breakfast where she made her usual, toast with nutella. As soon as she finished, she rushed upstairs to get changed, wash, do her makeup etc. Just as she put her shoes on she heard a knock at the door. It was her best friend and partner in crime, Becky.

“ANDREA, IT’S TODAY!” she screamed and ran inside.

It was the day they were going to see Overload. Overload were their favourite band, they had been for over three years. They had tried and tried to meet the boys since they first discovered them, but nothing ever worked. They were giving up hope until they announced a worldwide tour. They were finally coming to Australia and the concert in Melbourne was the day before Andrea’s birthday which meant they got tickets as a birthday present, but to add to it, they had meet and greet tickets.

The girls had spoken to the boys so much since they found them as they found them when there was just the manager (Blair) and one of the boys Daniel J in the band. Overload went through a lot with members leaving and members coming but the girls stuck with them all the way through. They watched them grow and achieve their dream, they went through everything with this band, and now they were finally getting to meet them.

“Becky, I’m going to cry my eyes out. I’m never going to let go of Andy”

“I know, I can’t believe it’s finally happening. We’re finally meeting them and I finally get pictures with Ryan!”

“Could you imagine if they actually knew who we were? Hahah, a girl can dream”

Andrea’s POV

We walked into the arena and it was huge! The queue was so big, I can’t believe this many people turned up. It’s crazy to see how far my boys have come, I couldn’t be prouder of them.

We got to go in a different entrance as we had meet and greet which meant we got to skip the queue, thank god. We walked through a door, and I froze. There, right in front of me, was my whole world. Andy Fowler. Andy joined the band a bit later than all the rest but he was part of the Alpha Dog Family before as he was Harvey’s guitarist. Andy has the voice, looks and personality of an angel. He meant everything to me and I was finally going to meet him, the boy who saved me. The boy who lit up my tunnel: my dark; gloomy tunnel. He was the reason I stayed strong. I burst out crying and fell to the floor. I buried my face in my hands and let my makeup smudge everywhere.

“Andrea: quick. Get up he’s coming over, get up!”

As I stood up, there right in front of my eyes was Andy. Was this even real? Was he even real? Was I hallucinating? He seriously just left the boys to come over to me. This definitely was not real.

“Andrea?”

HE KNOWS WHO I AM. HE NEVER FORGOT ME; IT’S BEEN OVER TWO YEARS SINCE WE HAD A PROPER CONVERSATION, AND HE STILL REMEMBERS ME.

“Oh my god, it is you!” Andy grabbed me and pulled me into the biggest hug ever where I cried in his arms. “I thought you would have forgotten about us! It’s been over three years since you started supporting us! I never expected you to show up here!”

“I would never forget you boys, you saved me,” I replied. “I thought you would have forgotten me!”

“Not in a million years, I’ll always remember you! How could I forget you? You’re incredible!”

I started blushing like crazy, I looked terrible. I looked like a panda and I had lines where my tears had rubbed off my foundation, and now I was blushing.

“Aw you look so cute when you blush”

Oh god.

“So where are you sitting or standing?”

I showed Andy the ticket as I didn’t really know where it was.

“No way, you’re right at the front!”

I looked next to me to me to look at Becky so she could speak with us as I am an extremely awkward person and she always helped me in situations where I didn’t know what to say, but she was gone. I looked around a bit until I saw her with Ryan speaking, laughing and smiling. I hadn’t seen her that happy since she had a conversation with him last. This was going to be such an incredible night.
