a brief and sudden introduction

I was disturbingly sure the girl on the bench hadn't moved all morning.

I didn't know if I should do anything about her. To be honest, I wasn't completely sure what to do. The station was completely vacant, as it always is. Hardly anyone uses it anymore. Which isn't really surprising. This isn't the type of town known for tourism, or travelling of any sort in that matter. Frankly, I would be surprised if anyone has left this town in years.

However, I can't just leave the girl here. She could be hurt, or even dead. I have to make sure she's okay. Going up to her really didn't seem like the best idea, but it was the only one I had.

I check my watch; quarter to ten. If I hurry, I could still catch my train in time.

Standing up, I take a couple cautious steps on the old wood plank floor towards the girl.
I really sincerely hope she's not dead. Being accused of murder wouldn't really be nice right now. Or ever, for that matter.
I suck a breath in. I need to stop overthinking. I quicken my pace.

I get to about a foot away. There's no going back now. "Hey, are you ok?" I call out. My voice echoes eerily through the whole station. The girl still lays unmoving.

I'm about to step even closer when all of a sudden she jumps up. Wisps of strawberry blonde hair fly in front of her pale freckled face and twinkling green eyes. Well, twinkling with pure rage would be a better description.

"What the hell is your problem dude!?" she shouts.

"Uh- " I stammer, still focused on her. She's taller than I thought, and looks about my age, 18, maybe 19 at most.

She arches an eyebrow. "Oh come on, you can't just wake someone up from a really nice nap and expect them to not be upset. " She walks over to me with her hand raised and I flinch, half expecting her to slap me. Instead she extends it out. "Call me Rory - not that it's my name or anything."

Still at a loss for words, I reculantly shake her hand. "Adrian.." I mutter.
I can already tell that this was a very bad idea.

Rory grins. "Nice to meet you." Without warning, she tightens her grip on my hand and drags me behind her, heading towards the exit. "Let's go. I need something to eat."

I start panicking. Am I being kidnapped? By a random girl I tried to help..? I try to resist, but her hold is too strong and I'm forced to follow her.

I have a strong feeling I'm going to miss my train..
