Gentle and soft were the kind of steps that led Ming back to Yoongi. Having left Jimin after he insisted for her to do so. Because he couldn't stand to have her take care of him anymore. Better yet be so kind to the man himself. The actions alone driving him more insane than he already was. And in the quietest manner, Ming let her fingers wrap around the door. Meeting Jungkook and Hoseok's eyes before doing so. Their eyes that held so much pain and exhaustion behind them. Knowing exactly why they did. Because it wouldn't take a genius to realize that the two were tired. Tired of seeing the only people they have turn against each other so easily. And tired of seeing the ones they love. . . get hurt.
"Yoongi." Ming already had her eyes set on Jin's soft ones. Catching sight of the man with his hand on the youngers back. Having talked him down enough to make him calm.
And with a nod, the elder got to his feet. Leaving Ming alone because he knew that Yoongi needed her. He always did. But Ming didn't speak. Letting the sound of the bedroom door closing shut, fill the air as she sat beside Yoongi on the edge of the bed. Watching the way his hands tightened themselves within the blonde locks resting on his head. A gesture that only had her laying her own head on his shoulder. Aimlessly staring at the wall in front of them all while pulling his hands down. Encasing them with her own only to kiss his fists in the softest manner. Holding them there while her tears met with the skin.
"Kitten—"
"Shh." There were no words that needed to be said. Because Ming only wanted silence. Too tired to speak. And too tired to tell the man things that he already knew. So instead she kept her lips pressed against his fists. Keeping the aura one of peace as her eyes closed in the want to just feel. And she did. She felt the way Yoongi dropped his head down to rest against her own. The two of them only wanting each other's company at the moment as Ming laid his fists in her lap. Brushing her thumbs against the back of them while Yoongi's eyes closed shut as well. Wanting to only feel. And he did. He felt the way his lips quivered. And the way the guilt continued to eat him alive. Because it would. Because when you take for granted someone who would do anything for you, the feeling of guilt cant help but stay. Wether it be forever or just a moment in time.
And Ming knew exactly how he felt. Having felt the same way after taking advantage of the man sitting beside her. The only man who's ever loved the woman more than they did so themselves. And the only man who would sacrifice his own happiness, for hers.
"I love you." Ming could hear the vulnerability in his tone. And the regret. But still she kept silent. Knowing that he was sorry. And that he loved her more than words could express. So with the gentle sunlight seeping through the windows, she let it paint their skin. All while pulling away for just a brief moment. Peering up at Yoongi who met her gaze almost instantly. And with a sniffle, she let her fingers brush away his tears. The gesture alone enough to make his heart pound even harder in his chest as she connected their lips.
"Just no more fighting, Yoongi. . . please." Ming kept her hand against his cheek. Watching him nod while the heaviness of his palms took hold of her waist. And he knew that he needed to stop. That he needed to stop pushing away the only people who cared for him. And the only people who would do anything for the man himself.
But instead of telling the girl that he wouldn't, he only let his lips take hold of her own all over again. Missing how they felt against his skin. And how at ease they'd make him feel as Ming slid her hand up his neck. Gently tugging on the hair that rested there all while feeling Yoongi's grasp on her waist tighten. But before he could take it any further, Ming pulled away. Voicing out the quietest go see them before getting to her feet. Peering down at Yoongi who watched the woman stick her hand out for him to hold. And in hesitation, the man let his fingers latch within her own. Walking towards the door in which Ming jerked her head over at the boys who were still sitting on the couch.
"Kookie." She watched Yoongi walk up to them. Voicing out the younger's name in the most delicate manner only to have his head immediately snap up. Catching the fear in his gaze that was always there when it came to the elder man. But Yoongi only brought a hand down to his head. Ruffling the boys hair all with tears softly trailing down his cheeks. And Jungkook could've sworn that his stomach had never dropped so fast. Not having received that kind of affection from Yoongi who stuck his hand out to Hoseok. Pulling the man into a rough hug only to voice out a quick thank you. It being loud enough for even Ming herself to hear as Jungkook joined the two with his own unknown tears present in his eyes. Realizing how much the elder man meant to him as he wrapped his arms around Yoongi's frame. Receiving a chuckle from the boy who let the heaviness of his hands pat themselves amongst his back.
And Ming could see the love that they held for each other. Putting together that they needed Yoongi. . . just as much as he needed them.
