After Karma finished telling Rin's story, the audience was left in awe. Kotone took out her notebook and continued to scribble some fast notes into it, using it for future reference to encounter Rin with. This was definitely useful information that she could use, and it would help her maneuver against Rin if she were to confront her. She also made a future reference for zombies, which were souls that have been resurrected back into their bodies by a shinigami and mutated into a monster. Kotone felt that was something else that she needed to note for later on, in case if they encountered any zombies in the future or if a future breakout invasion of zombies occurred.

"Thank you for your help, Karma-san," Kotone said. "I now understand Rin a little better than I did before. I'm sure that this information will prove useful to us when we talk with her. So thank you for that."

"I feel sorry for Rin," Hana said while she wrung her hands together. "To have gone through all that and kill off her lover...I don't think I could ever imagine myself in that situation, if it were Misaki and I."

"It's a mistake that she'll live with for the rest of her life," Ayano said with a careless shrug. "It's best that she learns from it and not repeat the past."

"Still, from the sounds of this Rin, her judgments sound too harsh," Kotone said as she wrote down the last bit of notes that she needed for formulating her plan. "We need to talk with her before she brings the trial to court."

"Did learning all that help you with your plan, Kotone-san?" Hana asked.

"Yes, the pieces are already put into motion. Karma-san, could you contact Rin-san for us, if it's possible? We would like for her to come meet us before the court session takes place."

"That is entirely within the realm of possibility," Karma said with a grin, before taking out a golden ring with a blood red ruby in the center. "She's probably at home, reviewing the case for Hana-san. Let me call her real quick."

Kotone's curiosity piqued. "How are going to talk to Rin with that?"

"An enchantment, of course," Karma said with a smile, before he began uttering an incantation that caused the ring to glow. The ruby gem to sparkle and gleam with potent mana. While doing this, he slipped the ring on his finger and waited for Rin to notice his telepathic signal. He motioned for the other three girls to remain silent in his presence, before they heard the sound of Rin's voice coming through the ring.

"What do you want, Karma?" Rin said in a frigid tone. "This better be good, because I've been reviewing the case for tomorrow."

"There are people who want to meet with you. Is it possible that you can come over to my office and speak with them?"

"That would be a great inconvenience to me, seeing as I've settled down in my chair and drinking a cup of nice hot tea to go with reviewing the case file. I'm afraid that I don't have time for idle chatter with strangers."

"It's really important though, it's pertaining to your case," Karma said while he eyed the girls, before flicking his eyes towards the clock in his room. "There are advocates for Hana Yurizuka that are in my office asking to see you."

"Then they shall see me in court tomorrow," Rin said in a crisp tone. "And not anytime sooner."

"Couldn't you take some time out of your day to visit these people? They are really passionate about this case. They want to help lessen Hana's sentence."

"Tomorrow. At court. Not any sooner."

Karma let out a sigh, before shrugging towards the trio of girls. There seemed to be a crestfallen expression on Hana's face, as she anticipated a meeting with the shinigami that presided over her case, though it seemed like it wouldn't be possible. "Hey wait, don't hang up yet. You could at least listen, you know. It's not against the rules or anything like that, is it? Just hear them out first. You don't have to come visit them, but just listen to them."
