I couldn't bare to think about Shadow ever leaving the way that Ali did. I wouldn't know what to do if he ever did leave, I mean Shadow is the one that cleans my wounds when I get hurt. He makes me feel like I matter to someone who isn't Jai. Jai is my brother, and we had ran away together to get away from our abusive father. We were running through the forest when we ran into Shadow and Gash. Shadow about killed me that time because I knocked him over and he lost his temper. Shadow's temper seemed to fade away when he saw my wounds and scars because the next thing I know is that I'm being dragged along through the forest with Gash and Jai following. It was when we arrived at a house that I realized that he was worried about me and wanted to help.

"Axel you there?" Jai asked, "dinner is almost done, and Jet has something he wants to tell everyone."

"Okay" I said and followed him into the kitchen.

Once I sat down, a plate full of food was placed in front of me. I looked up and saw Shadow had been the one to place it in front of me. I smiled my thanks to him, and he gave me a small smile back. He went back to giving plates to everyone, then Jet stood up.

"Okay everyone" Jet began, "since Ali is back, we would like to welcome you back. Back to serious matters, we have a threat against us and that is we have a new gang in town and they are out to get us. Well more like out to get Ali because they hear that he is one of the best and they want him. We will make it in our best interest to see that they will not get ahold of Ali or Shadow."

"Me?" Shadow asked almost dropping a plate full of food, "why would they want me?"

"Their leader Ice has heard about you" Jet said, "he has also had some of his men follow you and take pictures of you to show him. He plans on taking you and making you his husband."

"That bastard is not laying a finger on him" I growled out angrily, "I will kill him before he touches Shadow in any way."

Everyone looked at me shocked, but I just shrugged at them. I wasn't letting Shadow be taken away from me, I would kill anyone who tried to take him from me.

The next couple of days went by uneventful, and I was beginning to get bored because there was nothing to do. I was supposed to be watching over Shadow, but he was in the shower and he told me to wait for him in the living room so we could go to town together. It was becoming late when I noticed that Shadow hasn't come out of the bathroom yet, I got worried so I went to check on him. When I got to his room, I saw that he had fallen asleep on his bed. I smiled to myself and went over to pull the blanket on him.

"Huh? Axel?" Shadow said in his sleep.

"Shh" I shushed him, "go to sleep."

"Okay" Shadow said then yawned before falling back to sleep.

I pulled the blankets over him then left the room to go back to the living room. When I got there Jai and Jet gave me a weird look.

"Did you and Shadow go to town already?" Jet asked.

"No" I said, "Shadow fell asleep after he got out of the shower while I was waiting for him in here. I got worried about what was taking him so long so I went to check on him."

"Oh okay" Jet said, "you can stay in and I'll have Reese and Kian go to town."

"Okay" I nodded, "thanks. Now I can still keep an eye on him while he sleeps so nothing happens to him."

"Okay" Jet said, "oh have you seen Ali at all today?"

"No I haven't" I said, "actually I haven't seen him at all today."

"I wonder if he went spying on that other gang" Jai said thoughtfully.

"Knowing him it's very possible" Jet said.

I went back to Shadow's room, but he was gone. I ran back downstairs in a panic.

"Shadow is gone" I said panicked.

"What do you mean he is gone?" Jet yelled angrily, "you were just up there not too long ago."

"I mean I just went up there and he wasn't in bed anymore" I said then put my hands on my face, "this is all my fault, I was supposed to watch over him. God FUCK GASH IS GOING TO KILL ME."

Then Gash walked into the room with Kian and Reese on his heels.

"Please don't kill me" I cried.

"Why would I do that?" Gash asked.

"Shadow is gone" I cried, "I think that gang came and got him. I was supposed to watch over him."

Gash slammed me into the wall, "are you fucking kidding me? You're telling me that my kid brother is out there somewhere with those assholes. You're right it is your fault that he was taken. Instead of having your head up your ass, you should have been watching over him like you were fucking supposed to."

I started crying harder then Jet yelled, "let go of him Gash. This happened on all of our watches. We were all in the house when it fucking happened, so we are all at fault here."

Gash let me go, but he was still angry. He walked away from me and sat down trying to keep calm.
