PROLOGUE
Hi, my name is Sydney Brooks and I've just transferred to this school, Oakwood High. I am enrolling as a senior and I want this last year of highschool to be the most memorable. And to make that possible, I am going to find people within the walls of this school to help me build those memories with me.
After a week of looking for potential friends, I already made two. They were River and Margo. I have the best time whenever I am around them, and I am certain that with these guys, I'll surely have the happiest last year of highschool. But, when I make friends, I also make enemies. It cannot be helped. There will always be people who won't like you for some reason. Too bad I don't live to please them.
Then I met this guy named Shaun Rodriguez. If there were jocks, cheerleaders, geeks and nerds at every school, there was also a lonewolf. And that was Shaun. I didn't know why everyone pretended like he didn't exist. He had no friends, nobody even cared to talk to him. It was like he had some kind of sick disease. What, ebola? I don't think so.
I mean, Shaun was hot. He had this black, messy hair and dark blue eyes – almost black. Too bad he hid behind his glasses. I'm surprised none of them Regina George wannabes went near him.
And then I thought, 'Who is Shaun Rodriguez?' 'Why was he isolated?'. Then the curiousity in me blazed.
I need to get close with Shaun and hope that he will be nicer.
