Once they got back from the courthouse, Jeffry started to search new apartments. Jackline knew he was making her untraceable. All his customers knew where he lived, so he was going to move and change his selling habits. The cheapest two bedroom apartment he could find was in a neighboring city. She didn't question when he asked her to pack about a week later. She did and they moved to the cheap apartment. Shiver curled up and settled in really quick. Jackline unpacked and tried settling in, while Jeff was enrolling her in an online school. They all unpacked and placed their furniture where it needed to go. Jackline made a makeshift bed on her bedroom floor. Since the home was mostly empty when it came to the basic materialistic needs, Jackline asked to get lunch from a restaurant close by. Jeffry didn't object, but he did prepare her before she went. "Here's the money, and here's the safety percussions" he handed her $20 and two pistols. "If anyone tries to take you, dig them out. If they don't believe you shoot at the ground. Go ahead and shoot them if you want, you can't get arrested for blanks." She placed the guns in her pockets and concealed them. Money in hand, literally, she walked out of the building. She walked down the street and went through a few alleys, she made it to the restaurant.
