The Winter We Thought We Lost Love

Chapter Three

Christmas Day

Kit, Beam and Yo spent most of the day setting up the living room at Yo's house for the party they were going to have. Pha was out with Ming picking up the gifts they had for them and Forth was going to show up later after spending time with his family. They didn't rush due to no one was going to be there till eight that night and it was only four.

''P'Kit, what did you get Ming?'' Yo asked as he tired to put the star on top of the tree. Why did they have him do they tree? He was the shortest of the group and the tree still had a good foot on him.

Kit stood there for a bit not saying a word as he touched his pocket where the gift was ''A silver bracelet engraved with our initials in it.'' He said softly setting up the table.

''What about you P'Beam? What you get P'Forth?'' Yo turned looking at him.

''A leather jacket'' he said with a smile then walked over and helped Yo with the star. ''What about you? What you get Pha?'' He wondered.

''Well I wasn't sure what to get him, but when I was out with Ming we stopped by a jewelry store near the food court. I happen to see a necklace and got it engraved with our initials as well.'' Yo smiled and laughed as he held out the gift.

Kit turned and looked at Yo ''Why did Ming go there?'' he asked

''To get your gift.'' Yo said then noticed what he had done. ''You got Forth a leather jacket huh.'' He said turning back to Beam.

Kit wondered what Ming could have got. It's not like he wore anything like that, so what could he have gotten him. The whole thing started to bug Kit. He got so worked up that he even started to bug Yo about what Ming got.

''NO P'. I'm no going to tell you.'' Yo said annoyed ''Ming is excited about what he got you and if I mess it up he will be truly upset.'' Even as much as Yo wanted to tell him, he knew that this moment meant a lot to his friend and he didn't want to mess it up for him. Ming was in love with Kit and this was how he was going to truly show it to him.

Finally, eight o'clock rolled around and Pha showed up with Ming. Like always Yo ran over to Pha only to get pulled into a tight hug and a deep kiss. Ming walked over to Kit and kissed his cheek softly.

''Merry Christmas, KitKat.'' Ming smiled at him.

Kit blushed a bit and nodded ''Same to you, Ming.''

Everyone was sitting on the couch when Forth ran into the room breathing heavily caring a bag with him.

''Sorry, traffic was a bit bad and my family didn't want to let me go.'' He said as he took a seat next to Beam who handed him a glass a water.

''Well, since your late and last to show you can start with your gift first.'' Pha said who was hugging on Yo.

Forth stopped and set the cup down ''Me?'' he said

''Yep'' Yo agreed with Pha and laughed.

''Well ok'' Forth grabbed the bag next to him and gave it to Beam. ''Since the others were already coupled up I didn't want you to feel left out so I got you something. Its not much but its something.''

Beam smiled ''Thanks'' he opened it and pulled out a new shirt.

''Blue looks good on you and I saw this and thought how it would look.'' Forth said then pulled out the receipt ''If you don't like it you can always take it back and get something else.''

''No, I like it Ai'Forth'' Beam started to blush a bit.

''Beam, your turn'' Kit said.

Beam got up and grabbed his gift from under the tree then handed it to Forth who was shocked ''So there is a card inside of it as well.'' Beam sat it on his lap and walked off to the kitchen.
