"Could you stop playing with your phone and help me to cook here." Ryn start nagging as she took out the kimchi, meat and other stuff from the fridge.
You locked your phone and walk to her with a smile. She is your bestfriend since you were 5 and you decided to live together after the college life ended.
You just a regular worker who work in a café and she's work in the office as a personal assistant. Her office's kinda far from your house so she decided to look for apartment there.
"You rarely come home, and I'm all alone." You pat her shoulder from back and 'shoo' her away.
"My work place's far from here so sorry not sorry." You 'tsk' her.
"Lemme cook, go and take your bath you are smelly." You cover your nose; proving that she's 'smelly'.
She hit your arm before run to upstairs leaving you whining in pain.
"That's cheating!" You yelled as you took the knife and start the cooking session.

A loud thud from the living room makes the bowl in your hand almost fall on the floor.
"What's happening?" You put the bowl away and make your way to the living room.
A purple bag on the floor makes you turn to your right.
"Got so many bags." She stand on the stairs with her innocent smile ever but her pupils are shaking.
You sigh and pick it up and throw it on the couch.
"Can't you bring them down one by one."
"It's tiring."
"At least safety first."
She remind silence.
"Breakfast is ready." You walk to the kitchen and continue your work.
"Who the hell wants to eat kimchi stew in the morning?" You said it in sarcasm and she frown.
"I'm too busy to cook. I need to go to Russia tomorrow because he have an appointment there. My life as a secretary's suck."
You chuckle as you take a seat front of her.
"Suck? Yah, it's good you got the chance to travel bruh." The hot kimchi stew soup entering your mouth.
"My day filled with him, work, and appointment." She rolled her eyes and start eating.
"Whatever, as long as it's not me, I'm okay." She give you a death glare making you laugh.

"Take care of yourself, don't skip meals, eat medicine if you are sick, drink more water, make sure you get enough sleep. If I know you skip you me-"
"Woah chill Ryn, I'm the one who supposed to say that." You facepalm as she smile like a dork to you.
"Call me if anything happen!" She nod before hop into the car and start to drive away.
You close the door and get ready for work.
"It's gonna be a long day."

You wore your apron and sit on the counter as usual. As expected, café will be so packed early in the morning but it will slow down on 10.
You always give the costumers a smile before taking their order, ask them to take their seat while waiting for their order done politely. At least, not to be rude.
Whenever it got too busy, you will run to the kitchen to help them making coffee even though this cafe got enough employees.
You sigh as you got back to the counter but a single tap on your shoulder make you turn to your back again.
