I'm running through the night
I can't ever sleep
For I know the dreams will haunt me
The change like a continuous video
Summing up my life.
I don't know where I'm going
The city lights reflect on the pavement
But I don't mind the dark.
It's when I can be alone
And think to myself.
Life's problems always seem
Much simpler in the darkness of night.
I'm alone with the creatures of the night.
Escapism from my tourmoil.
Ecapism from my life.
The further I may run
The further the problems seem
But I know can't keep running much longer.
I need to face my fears of life.
A new year, a new beginning.
