Chapter 2: The Eye

Hajime's Pov

I helped Chiaki with the work and we both got 10/11. There was a trick question in there but I guess I didn't think too hard.  After my first class I had music, and of course.. Chiaki had it too.

I had to go to the bathroom first so I went through this long hallway to get to it. I'm definitely going to be late. After I finished my business, I cleaned my hands and dried my hands. As I got out, a leg went out in front of me an I tripped. Suddenly I heard laughing from behind. I looked back just to see a group of 3 people looking at me.

"Hey loser, what do you have in your wallet?" said some short kid with blond hair.

"Obviously my money. What did you think I had?" I replied in a rude tone.

The kid got mad and kicked me in the gut. That hurt.

"I think this loser deserves a lesson fellas. Record this boys. I want to see how I look beating him up!" the kid said and started smirking.

This kid is way too cocky. The kid suddenly started charging at me attempting to punch me in the chest. But instead I moved to the side then grabbed his arm and twisted it. He yanks out in pain but continues to fight me. He punched me in the nose which dislocated it and then stabbed me in the eye with a pen that he got from his pocket.

This dude is trying to kill me in school, what the hell? I grabbed the pen from his hand and threw it at his arm. He dodged but he fell while dodging.  He quickly tried to stand up but I stomped my foot against his face. He kept trying to get my foot out but it didn't work. Oh no, I'm late for class. But before I go, I should give him a message. I get my finger and put it in my blood that came out from my eye.  I then wrote on his forehead "Loser" in blood. I saw this guy do it in a movie so I wanted to do the same cuz he looked cool doing it. But I definitely did not...   

I then head to class seeing as we still had 50 minutes meaning 10 minutes has passed since class started. On my way to class I fixed my nose so I should be good. Uh oh, forgot about my eye.. but it did stop bleeding, I just can't open it. I'll just say I tripped and fell into the edge of the sink in the bathroom. Maybe I should've just went to the nurse but this school doesn't allow fights even if you were the victim. Can't risk getting expelled...

I entered the class and again..  Everyone stared at me. The teacher then asked, "What happened to your eye kid? It look all purple and stuff."

"I um fell on the edge of the sink..?" I replied unsure.

"Tell me the truth, did you get in a fight? I won't tell the principal."

"Maybe? Kind of..  Yeah I did." I replied weirdly.

"Let Mikan treat your wound. Trust me,  she is as good as the nurse here." the teacher told me.

"M-me? U-uh OK, p-please do-don't get m-mad if I-i-i mess up." said the purple haired girl who I assume is Mikan. I nodded and she began to treat my wound. All of a sudden an image of Chiaki appeared in my head. She is so pret- INNER me, sto- you know what I give up. She is so pretty. Can't wait to collaborate with her on YouTube. Actually where is she right now?

I look around the classroom and then I spot her playing her Nintendo on her chair. When Mikan finished treating my wound, I thanked her but she said I should go to the hospital after school because she said I might lose my vision in this eye.
Hopefully not..

I walked over to Chiaki and she looked at me surprised but then went back to having a calm look.

"Thank god, you're safe.." when she said that, I started to blush.

"Uh yeah, by the way.. um if you want to do the collab after school we can, but I have to go to the hospital first because Mikan said I might lose my vision in this eye." I said to her. She then started to frown.

"Well hopefully you still will have your sight and nothing bad happens to you.." she quietly said to me.  She looks pretty when she smiles, I don't want her to be sad.

"Come on, smile! You look cute when you smile.." Oh crap, why did I say that, I sound like a creep, she probably hates me now, it's the end of the world.

She giggled before saying thanks.  My face was the darkest shade of red right now. Worst part is,  everyone was listening..

Ok I know the fight was cringe but I wanted to make Haji kind of strong, please no hate ;( Also with the eye, I'm thinking of giving him his red eye so yeah, he well have yellow eye and red eye like he did in the original story VVV ------------ P.S. Sorry that it was short
